Hey guys, i'm having a LOT of trouble with my laptop and its really fucking me off.
Today I came home and turned my laptop on, everything was fine for about 10 mins until all the windows I had open froze and said not responding. I restarted my laptop, and everything was fine again....for about 10 mins and the same thing happened. whatever i had open crashed and wouldnt respond. i couldnt open task manager to close anything or see if anythin else was open. everything crashed and they all disapeared. i opened my computer and the only thing there was the disc drive! no icons linked up to anything, like the shortcuts, so nothing else would open. It keeps doing this and its really pissing me off!!!
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Hardware, Software problems? I really have no idea, i'm not too good with computers. am i gonna need to get a new one or just send this for repair somewhere? Is there an easy thing I can do to sort it out? (doubt it, but hey, worth asking!)
Cheers for any help, appreciate it!

reinstall windows naturally.and delete the partition first so you can make sure you got rid of the bugger.
but like evans said try the safe mode without networking first and scan for viruses if it allows you.you could fix it like that and just repair windows only not reinstal it.

right its in safe mode and ita scanning, not finding anything though. Afters its been on for a while i can hear a noise inside which sounds like its shutting down or dying, then the laptop goes silent... Oh wait, the virus scanners crashed. Great...
Whats this about deleting the partition? I've heard the word before but no idea what it is im gonna lose all my stuff arent i? i have so many things on here, programs, uni work, photos, videos, music... I could do with an external harddrive really haha
