theres a couple people including myself thats getting this weird error, its mostly on topics with large amounts of pages and when u click on the most recent page u get an error that says "This Page Does Not Exist"



Just wondering if this can get sorted at all, it gets a bit anoying every now and again and its bound to be causing some confuzzlement to people

there's been a clear out of spam which has resulted in the number of posts in some of the threads being reduced. (tim's anti-spam gun)

the page count has stayed the same though. this mean that you have to go back and find the last page that has an actual post on it.

at the moment for example this is page 25 in the dubstep thread, but the last page that registers on the forum for this thread is 28. this means you have to go back one page at a time to reach a page where you can see the posts.

it'll sort itself out when new posts catch up with the old page count, so my advice is to post like mad in those threads to bring them up to the old page number......

well just been posting in the dubstep thread to bring the pages with posts in up to the last page, but it's added new pages!?!

the most recent post is still 3 pages away from the last page

now what?

LoL so quick to blame! I had a few hundred accounts to delete! Fuckin spammers die! 99% of the accounts I deleted had zero posts, so not sure why it would affect the topics. How do you know it wasn't BK playing around with YouTube? We'll try to get it sorted.

bigsugar im not blaming no one for youtube or that at all i don't think you or brainkiller would actually make this error to piss us off i was just saying it would be good to get it fixed im not pointing any fingers here, and its not exatcly spamming is it by posting on the off topic forum that theres an error

It has nothing to do with spammer accounts directly. Its because posts were deleted in those topics, and some things didnt work as it should in the forum. It happens on several other forums than just BK.

Everytime a topics last page has reached its maximum number of posts per page, the deleted "ghost" post will trick the indexing to create a new page that isnt there. I havent found a way to fix this either, but if someone does, please post it here.

we had like 4000+ members and now were down to 1000 thats like alot of users

that still didnt cause the forum missbehavior

no no i fucked up the forum will all those addons lately, added many things not visible to normal users (admin, antispam, security, new users can't see certain forums until they reach 10 posts etc..)
one of those addons screwed up the forumview.php, i'll sort that out no worries

there were about 3000 spam accounts on the forum, registered but never activated by email, so we got rid of them all accounts created only to post the url to spam sites

everything will get sorted, working also on the main site, just chill

Btw, borrect me if I'm wrong but when I was writing a post some time ago I saw a youtube icon, top right of the typing window. Is that a button to post embedded youtube videos? It was there once, I never saw it again... If yes, that would be great for the video section.
