i think he means when he listen to IMD, it influences his mind like a drug. OR, when he's under SOME influence, listening to imd creates pictures in his head

The problem is most people have no self control. But drugs can teach you things about the world and yourself so be careful because once you know these things you will notice them forever. (specificaly with hallucinogens)

been a long time for me now, ive gone off substance, trying to make some progress in life before i get back into it again

its funny, ive had a few dreams lately where i was high as fuck, some kinda flashback i think. u all know shit can stay in your system for months right?

No drug that is not produced by your body stays in your system forever. Lsd disapears from the body almost instantaneously psilocybin takes a couple days...what they do is effect the firing of neurons in the brain. THC can stay in the system for up to 5-6 months if you smoke every day, but can be out in 24 hours if you hardly ever smoke.

Some people have "flashbacks" from hallucinogens but I think it is because the brain has learned a different neural pattern to function in. Lsd is just thought to effect the re-uptake on certain chemicals in the brain.

DMT is produced in the brain as well as GHB and a handful of other chemicals, I think.

im afraid u won't understand what he's talking about as long as u dont try it it's like parachute jumping, or any extreme experiences taken by ppl, u can hear million stories about it, but u still donno for real what those ppl feel

I am trying to say, while the drug doesn't stay in your system for long it can have long term effects from changing the way you think.

For example, once you see the way social constructs that are learned from an early age are constantly influencing your behaviour sub-consciously then you never stop noticing this.

Basically you learn things permanently when the body is "imprinted" which usually only happens when you are in a higher state of awareness as an effect of being in danger or a switching on of the survival mode in the brain. This happens extensively on LSD and the things "learned" in this state of mind have a lasting effect.
