yeh man, but i studied in Lisbon (capital of Portugal) for five years, so i managed to see two of the three concerts they done in Portugal when i was there.
The music scene here sucks (too many djs and posers), but hey thats life. i do miss a good gig, even from a non mainstream portuguese band, but thats what you get when you live in a 50km by 25 km island with 250.000 inhabitants.

I don't! You live in paradise dee! Sure you don't get to go to gigs that often but you have lovely weather most of the year, you're never more than 12 and a half kilometres from the beach, you've got beautiful scenery left right and centre. Man, I'll switch you my life for yours any day!

true man, the weather is quite warm all year(depends of the altitude), its kinda cool a island with 55kms by 24kms, you can go from 0 meters to 1850 high, see great landscape and shitloads of hiking trails and our own levadas. but im a bit tired of this, thinking of leaving it, miss the urbanity of a city like Lisbon (quite small compared to London or so) but was the experience i had.
ps: and we dont really have sandy beaches here (only in the other island of the archipelago, 2 and half hour by boat) except the artificial ones (which im totally against to.
beaches we have here (dont know if you call them beaches in english or if theres another term for it)
artificial beach
the other island (most of the island is beach, since its quite small)
enough of complaints today
