My name "Flachcracker":

One day I was in a supermarket and laughed loud about a product, wich was named "Flachkräcker" !

"Flachkräckers" translated in English are very flat salted cookies but for me the word "Flach" in German often also stands for idiocy and foolishness. Combined for me a "Flachkräcker" isn´t a flat cookie, for me it was a stupid cookie. Are there clever cookies available worldwide ?

That´s why I think the word "Flachkräcker" is a funny German word - but, plaese don´t think, that I am stupid like a cookie.

But here for an international English forum I thought, I need to write it that way, like it is spoken in German.

So if you write "Flachkräcker" or "Flachcracker" - it is spoken the same way. The funny thing is, that cracker and cookies are the same things.

The word "crack" hasn´t anything to do with Drugs.

My theory is, that a lot of people misread my name here, cos sometimes peolpe call me "Flash" instead of "Flach", but I don´t care about it. It´s also funny, cos if you mean "Flashcracker" I´m the enlightened mate who sells or takes drugs !

There was a time when I hated my name like shit.
Why?
Simple. There is my name Láposi. (I know none of you will be able to pronounce it ) It is a hungarian name. But it has a jewish version too, which has to be written with double s and y at the end, and not i. So as Lápossy. There is nothing difference in pronouncing. You have to pronounce both version on the same way. There's only difference how you write it.
When I told my name, most people's first thought was to write it like this, so as I am a jewish. Fuck no!
