Error: User Not Found wrote: I think that's the goal, to scare, but why do that? Who wants to stop the world in their tracks enough to stop everyone from going anywhere? Nobody could have this much of a problem with the world than one unnamed country, and they aren't even threatening to nuke anyone!
nobody intends to stop all of the world to go anywhere. nukes are just incredibly useful to have politically. Any country with an ICBM can be sure that no one will mess with them. Look at north korea as an example

technologically speaking it's impossible for north korea right now to take out everything and everyone. if he could even hit the western pacific rim right now it would be the best they can do i reckon. given that russia and the us have on their own enough nukes to blow the world up several times just by themselves i can't see lil kim doing much but pissing everyone off and causing a major shift from the middle eastern area to him. what are the odds china and russia back north korea should they go on the offensive and god forbid actually nuke a nation?
