really proud that I had the chance to see him twice in '92 and '96. we'll never see someone like him. there will be thousand of timberlakes, but none like him

I always tought he's going to die on stage during the 50 gigs he was about to play. too much for him. rest in peace alien

Sad news indeed :(

Almost everyone in the music industry today have in some way been affected by his music! Many of todays artists wouldn't even excist without him. He changed the rules, produced timeless albums, inspired so many people, and sold more albums than any other artist ever will.

As a little kid I had alot of his music on music cassettes! And the first CD I ever bought was the maxi single "Jam". And that was the start of my passion for music in general. Later on I got the album "Dangerous", and this is today one of my favourite albums ever, a timeless album.

There was and never will such a big entertainer as Michael Jackson, singer; writer, musician and a dancer!

Keep moonwalking, wherever you are!

RIP

You can say what u want, but Michael Jackson will always be the king of pop, and he deserves to his own topic here. I just return from the work and i had the conversation with my boss about him, and we fight a lot, because he thought Michaels is the man that dont deserves to be remembered because of that all phedofilia stuff, Fuck, i Love the prodigy, but michael was a fuckin god in a pop music, and no fuckin Timbaland, or Justin Timberlake dont even have to right to suck his feet. Michael is the best and I will remember him for eternity. Respect for Michael Fans. Rest In Piece.

done a little research, i'll try make this simple.

mj had a doctor who was living at his bel air house were he was practicing for the gigs, he gave mj a type of painkiller that is morphine based and it is to be believed that mj had an overdose

i also believe his family made a statement where they said they knew he was taking to many painkillers and what not, he'd been on them since the mid 90's and abusing that stuff can really mess your liver up

couldn't believe it when my sister phoned me, I was waiting for the punchline.

Then looked at sky news and confirmed it. Damn!

Never expected MJ to go that young. Can't think of another person on the planet who is so well known and will definately be missed. R.I.P Michael Jackson

be careful with drugs people, they are more serious than we sometimes believe. all it takes is a minor lapse in judgement and dosage and you can die! know what youre taking with 100% certainty, and if your taking something you shouldnt ever day, you should know youve got a fucking problem. (i know people in my family and friends who are constantly taking painkillers when they have no physical pain)

I'm not really surprised the guy is dead. He didn't seem altogether healthy, but its still a shame. He was a kick-ass performer of his day.

The 911 call is pretty disrespectful in my book.
This is last private shit and nobody needs to get so close to this.

I also was a big fan and, like others here, Dangerous and especially JAM was so fucking incredible for me whan I was a kid.
It was the first record I bought (on vinyl) and I still got it here, it will always have a special place in my heart and collection.

I think Jam was so fresh when it came out, quite ahead of the other shit on the radio that time. I always thought Liam ripped of the glass-break-sounds in it for B&E... ;-)

Even if it sounds kinda stupid, knowing that Jacko is gone makes this earth a bit more triste for me. Even if he didn't do anything good (in my opinion) after Dangerous, it's a big loss. I was practically waiting for a surpise-record produced by Quincy again.

Maybe better this way, cos dying on stage (-I'm almost sure it would have happened during the tour, if he hadn't worn himself out now-) might look like a cool rock-death, but it's also very ...morbid and tragic.

I'm gonna spin Jam and some stuff from Bad to honour the airwaves a little with his quality works presence...

Well, rest in peace poor fella... :-(

See the thing is now taste, common sense and decency are gonna go out the window, for every tribute there's a joke waiting in the wings. Its split people's opinons and turned people in to hypocrites.

Sure everyone will appreciate what he's done for the music industry but like i said there are people that will drag him down saying he did this that and the other behind closed doors.

I for one will just remember the music. I want to turn off every news report thats on the tv radio and leave things at that. Fuck the media. As is with everything major thats happened this year, Jade, swine flu, the recession. Everything gets blown the fuck out of proportion.

MJ, you might have been a crazy mofo but you produced some damn fine music.

SHAMONE MOTHAFUCKA!

Very surprised and very sad. I only have his HIStory double CD but his songs are great. He's a legend. The world seems to be losing all of the greats and there's not really anyone replacing them...
