I though the best 3 tunes came in the top 5 but in the wrong order. I would have gone for Greece 1st, then the Serbian entry which was quite beautiful and finally Armenia, the chorus of which sounded a bit too much like Dr Alban's 'It's My Life' to me:

As for the UK, I'm kinda glad we came nearly last. It was a shit tune, sung by an ex-dustman who got lucky on a Pop Idol type show.
Saying that, quite why we participate in it any more is a bit of a mystery to me; nobody ever votes for us simply because of our political ties with the US, not whether the tune is good or not.
Add to that the fact that we contribute nearly a quarter of the cost each year to put the show on whichever country it takes place in and you wonder why we bother..

Britain also is a rather different place compared to rest of europe. The culture is nothing like any place in continental europe.
