It gets even better. It seems there's been a development in that little drama I've just had. Apparently one of the salesmen who left about 3 months ago has been sacked from his new job. Guess what for?

I went in this morning to hand all my stuff in and one of the senior engineers there who is still quite close friends with the salesman told me the whole story. So although I still can't prove anything it looks like in the last couple of days he's told the MD he's 100% sure it wasn't me.

About ten minutes later one of the directors who was in the meeting with me drove into the car park and when he came over to me was almost friendly: 'How are you doing? Everything OK? etc'.

I just said 'Give me a reciept for everything here (my stuff) and I'll be on my way'.

When I finally left a couple of my collegues were outside and as I hadn't a chance to say goodbye to them on Tuesday I had a brief chat with them. As I finished the director who gave me the reciept followed me out the door and told me 'Sorry it had to be like that and I wish you the best for the future'. What a fucking hypocrite!! I don't know if it was just him trying to save face in front of my collegues or not, but I just blanked him and walked away.

Fuck 'em and their job, as someone once said.

I'm gonna be losing my job too soon. But its my own fault. We're only supposed to use the internet between 12 and 2 for half an hour, but i'm on it from 9 to 5 and its taken them a year to see ive been doing it. I'm having a massive talk with the boss on monday, the minimum she'll do is tell me off (which i doubt). medium option is they'll ban my internet use, or the highest is they'll sack me, we've all had 2 warnings before but i didn't think anything of it as the last i'd heard was way back in November. Aparently i'm not needed from the end of June onwards anyway, so I won't be there for long no matter what happens
