I can't fucking wait. It's not because it's a particularly great job, after all it's only warehousing, but it's close to home (10 mins drive), the money will be quite good for what I'll be expected to do and there is a huge amount of scope for promotion quickly with my experience in that field. Happy to report I've got the job!! WOOOOOOOOT!! I start tomorrow, working from 10-6. I feel like it's a new start in life for me. Just as well, I had to buy a new exhaust for my car today. That was £60 I don't have. Never mind, the job pays weekly, so at least I'll have some cash in hand very soon.

Saw this old middle eastern man who had dyed his hair blonde but he looked like he dipped his head in peroxide since his hair was orange. He also had fake orange tan. Oh jeez I hadn't laughed that hard in ages.
Also IM GOING SKYDIVING ON SEPT. 6TH!!! Can't wait! |

Well that's one week done and dusted at my new work. Seems to be a little harder work than I thought at first, a LOT of walking around the warehouse, but I've met some really cool people. Most of them are Eastern European or Russian judging by their accents, and one of the girls helping me to learn my way around seems to have taken a shine to me already.
I think I'm going to quite like it there..

I don't remember, is it in London you're working or near your old job? The new job's in (very) North London, the Waltham Cross area to be exact. It's the big Sony distribution centre there. My old job where I lived was 100 miles away, in Norwich.

Its 10 days today that i see The Prodigy twice in 3 days at Cork and Slane.
Thats not the reason i'm cheered up today.......... Leeroy is doing a set in a club in Cork after the concert so its back to the hotel, quick change and back out to see the longman in action
