http://www4.head-fi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133131
I was listening to music and stuff on my shure e2c's and was thinking these earbuds must be a target to some modder out there.... so I uses google and shurely;) enough I found a forum with one guy describing how he dremel'd his pair to have a bigger opening and people said the results were pretty good.... better treble, smoother base... anyway I tried this mod and completely agree with all positive feedback on it.... just wanted to spread the news about this mod if ya have a pair of e2c's and want to give it a new life.... it might be worth a try;).....

besides that the method I used was as one guy said.... using a paper clip... what I did was bent the tip with needle nose pliers and put it in a bit and pulled the 2 plastic thinger's anyway what I found is the sound overall smooths out smoother base smoother treble... or as some have said new treble;P
