I know it's not easy to draw a line in the sand....things are always blended...but after reading this older article w/ Liam it made me wonder about the current state of his music....
Check it out-
LIAM-
I've been going out-and just general fuck-all.
INTERVIEWER-
Going out where? Clubbing?
LIAM-
What do you mean by clubbing? Going to dance clubs and like dancing? No Ive never been into that.I'm into bars, going to watch bands play, shit like that, general parties but I'm not really into fucking sweating in a club.
----------------------------------
So heres what I'm thinking....I personally like going to the club and dancing to beats...I prefer it over watching live bands I think....
Obviously Prodigy music makes you want to dance...but it also makes you want to mosh.....
What are you?

There was another Liam interview when he said "we'll put on all the dance fans on the left, and all the rock fans on the right" or something like that lol. Think it was an interview when Their Law Singles came out.

im more of a jump up and down and scream fan... so I voted rocker, simply because i'm not exactly dancing.

liam's always contradicting himself. in one interview he'll tell you he rocker, in another he's into some club stuff.
i remember this interview, it's much like tim said. i also remember another interview where he was at a club in france and thought he was listening to his music but instead it was junkie xl. i think he just goes in phases like the rest of the world.

Voted for Rocker cozz i'm more into this music...But but but i also love the beats and realy electronic music...The Prodigy, Aphex twin, chemical brothers
and stuff like that just too damn fine for me Keith Flint is a fella that did hes thing by forming a band "Flint" and that music is 4 ever to me I realy hope he will do something like that again in time and i respect keef. Clever Brains Fryin' - Mix for Godskitchen is one of my fav tunes.
I can lisen and dance to many music stiles.
By the way The Prodigy for ever!

Rock'n'roll baby! More into jumping and pushing. And that's what I've seen in the audience everytime I've attended a Prodigy show.

I'm the one who's losing her mind in the club ... jumping and moshing to the pretty prodigy music that is when I need to much space to "dance"...or else people get hurt
And when I go to their concerts I'm the one in the frontrow screaming her head off (I don't scream "keith I love you" or "I want to have your baby"..but mostely the lyrics ...) I forget everything around me and I really don't give a shit about how I look (overheated and sweating )
I voted rocker :headbang:

It's very simplistic to separate rock and dance, today's music has so much crossover elements.
Alot of the stuff played in clubs uses guitars, shouts and real drumsamples...
What is dance anyway? I can dance to fuckin' oasis

ROCK
For me The Prodigy is mostly a ROCK band! No matter all the dance elements they've been always on their best as a rock band rocking at the festivals along with other ROCK bands! That's why they sound so much better live than in the studio. This is modern rock'n'roll
bring the mics and guitars!

showing my age here, but when i first heard the rat pack drop 'charley' in a 3 deck mix with the mc shouting out 'charley says go and steal some money from your mummy's purse so you can buy an e', it was definitely jump up time!
put me down for dance then
