What's the best registry cleaner? I tried like 5 different ones, all of them found like 1100 errors but none of them fixed anything, or did anything. just wasted my time lol.

I have TweakNow RegCleaner Professional and I like it a lot. It is compatible with Win2k, XP and Vista, and it's very easy and fast to use. You can download a 30 day demo version from here -> http://www.tweaknow.com/RegCleanerPro.html and if you are happy with it, you can purchase a full version (professional), which I strongly sugggest :)

Freeware software that I use: Wise Registry Cleaner 2.6, Advanced WindowCare: Personal Edition

Commercial alternatives: Tuneup Utilites (2006,2007), Ashampoo WinOptimizer (Versions 3 or 4)

The Commercial software packages are actually more than one program other than the registry cleaner, they have other things like disk cleaners, reg defragmentors, internet cleaners, HDD (hard disk drive) defragmentors etc.

After you have run the registry cleaner of your choice i would recommend that you install a registry defragmentor to compress the size of the registry

Freeware defragmentor that I use:

Code:

hope this helps you out.
