i mainly use ableton but latley i've been using arturia products too, the sounds ya get from these retro synth remakes by arturia are just awesome

Ableton live

Arturia Moog Modular V (Remake Of The Late 1960's Moog Modular)

Arturia Arp2000

Arturia Minimoog V (Remake Of The Minimoog)

Arturia Jupiter 8V (remake of the Roland Jupiter 8V)

Arturia CS-80V (Remake of the Yamaha CS-80)

All The Arturia Products Get Controlled By My Yamaha PSR-295 And I Record The Samples With Audacity and then put it all together with Ableton :)

I use mostly Reason 3.0 but its getting ridicolous right now since four 12 channel mixers combined are sucking the life out of Reason. Desperately trying to get into ProTools but everytime I download a version from somewhere, its severly fucked up. I have to get a decent verion so if anyone has a good link, even torrent, that would be great.

Wavelab is used for cutting and editing. I'm not getting into other shit as I mainly use it for fx. Im thinking about recording that crack when you try and crack your wrist and use it as a hi-hat but cant find a decent microphone. Sounds a bit Bjorkish, I know.

Any program will suck the life out of your pc or mac the more you do with it. just fair warning

i think what you're looking at is a reason why people resample alot so they free up cpu space

Of course, but I wasnt talking about that kind of sucction, lol. My computer is running normally. I was talking about the fact that i kind of reached a point where I need some live instruments or something beyond Reason. And I need something phat as a cow and Reason is not really a sinonym for phat. I mean, you can use it to reach a certain point of phatness but thats about it. Plus, its not really phenomenal in terms quality of sound.

Pro Tools could help there, at least production wise for now.
