Post subject:  Jesse Gorter's View (Brainstorm)
Jesse just spoke to me on msn, he was thinking of some logo or something concerning his name and style.

So, what I thought of... were 3D Glasses, with his initials integrated. This way, his name and view can be put on anything he wants to use for his style, it gets Jesse Gorter's point of view so to speak. For instance, I put the glasses on a person that played a cello (to link it to the classical influences Jesse has in his music).

Now, problem is, I'm no designer. Jesse isn't as well. So, if anyone can work this idea out into something that looks better and more balanced, it would be great. Think of the possibilities with these glasses (initials), the red and blue colors, and the futuristic view you can give to anything (from classical artists to whoever you can think of).

The idea behind the glasses is that it's not too serious. Quite some others on Playground have these bright and happy ideas (but serious as well) but always with a blink you know? ;) The glasses have a serious function but somehow it's funny as well. So, help!

Here's a simple example made in two minutes to give you an idea of what I mean:

I think thats pretty good, I wouldn't do too much else with it. Nice and simple, I like that.

Yes! That's what I mean! I'm happy you get it. I was looking for something easy with quite some ideas behind it. Less is more you know?

Jesse should contact you to get it all sorted. I just provided the theme and the ideas. I started with concept, then wrote it to paper.

Now from paper to reality. 8-)

Can i use it?

It's not yet really fitting the music playground site, since it deforms the image too much. But i love it.

that is pretty sweet. I think i will integrate it with the butterfly picture i uploaded to my hyves. I think i will put it in the centre just as logo.

But the basic logo can be used for anything, which is funky :D

If the question was meant for me and not for Necronomicon, sure! It was designed for you anyway, so it's quite obvious a yes. :-D

It jumped to my mind in 30 minutes. Just started to draw & write your name & initials and went looking for some butterfly picture examples. After a few drawings of your initials in the shape of a butterfly I thought of a more simple shape. A rectangle type of thing you know? Then when I combined it with the initials again, I saw 3D glasses in that shape. Thus, with the addition of red and blue glasses, the logo was born. :-D

Plus, it has a theme to it like explained in my first post in this topic ofcourse, which is applied by putting on the 3Dglasses.
