yes i do, there is some sort of idea that you are a 'divine nation' within you, something like 'we are predestined to govern this wretched planet' infested with 'lower people'. im not saying that you will one day attack and conquer the world and exterminate people, i just think that you have an inherent belief that whatever you do is right and that the 'US cause' is automatically the good cause. and thats dangerous ground

you have a point but its misguided. What you said, to a point; represents a huge portion of the tyrannical government here. A govt. run by corporations that have pushed for things like SOPA. Then you have the media here that is little more than a government mouthpiece. Unfortunetely, most people believe what the TV tells them.

But to say that represents the majority of the citizens here is complete bullshit.

the majority is the one who is relevant,who decides what officials are elected,who support those leaders and basically make up the back bone of a country. sure there are exceptions everywhere,people who actually think,and are critical with what is happening around them,but they rarely influence things and when it comes to democracy they are irrelevant.

now if your goverment is made up out of douchebags is the fault of the majority of the citizens in the country. if your goverment is controlled by the corporations then it is the fault of the majority for allowing this to happen. if you live in a system where the corporations are the heart of your country then it is the fault of the majority. it represents them. you may moan now because of the big bad greedy corporations but this wouldn't have happened if you didn't support this type of politics, or political system from the beggining. if you want these abuse to stop,and other like it, you need to change your entire political system,the way of doing things.
