nothing beats Sporting Lisbon (team i support) defeat at the UEFA Cup final, against CSKA in 2005. ffs we were playing in our stadium, every time i see UEFA cup games i remember that awful night :cry:

yeah we last got to the finals in 1972 i think, and we won, that was the last time we won the cup, so tonight was really a big night hence the 100,000 outside manchester, the full up ibrox stadium for fans to watch at home in rangers home stadium, and all the celebration thats been happening today, so its really really bad for some, nearly broke out in tears myself.

zenit were playing good football - making moves, looking for opportunities, passing....

rangers seemed to rely on the 'hoof and hope' style.
