I'm still using the speakers that came with my first PC about 9 (!) years ago; Cambridge Soundworks 5:1 surround, with a 200w sub, running through my onboard soundcard with Winamp 5.5 as my player. It's not the most powerful set up but it's still plenty loud. I never need to turn it up past half volume and the quality is still second to none to my ears (and the neighbours!). |

I've got a couple of dolby digital kits that rumble nicely but for a proper listen you can't beat itunes/ipod and a good quality set of headphones. Preferably a set with 'sony' written on them. |

you're talking about the computer speakers? I got Logitech Z-2300, composed by a 120 watts subwoofer and two 40 watts speakers, making a total of 200 Watts RMS http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/speak ... 1&cl=ca,en does a fine job and I appreciate when the sound I listen to is clear |

I have no fucking clue which ones, just Aiwa ... they're stereo. Have them for like 7 years now. They sound good to my ears. It gets the job done so to speak. |
