if it helps the site get better, i'm all for it.

it's not like you need to click on them.

plus, if you use firefox with ad blocker and add-art (not working with most recent version yet) you won't even see them

i agree, i don't mind it being up if its gonna make the site alot better, the new site has alot to offer, theres so much stuff here on the forum, im trying myself to get things into one sections, especially the fan mixes, would be good to bring them back, so im working on getting them all on the "prodigy Mixes" thread.

along with some other stuff, so its easier to find once you wanna build the site up


so yeah go for it bk, if its gonna help then go for it, although i hope the forum layout doesn't change, i love the orange and dark coloured forum, this ones like the only one of its kind

I really don't mind google ads. They're discrete and are usually quite relevant.

It's those fucking popups or flash ads that piss me off.

Helps with the bills and such for the site then go for it

Adblock is your friend if you dont like them and have firefox

maybe you could get away with putting them on the main page but keeping the forum clear of them...i replied in the negative because I like the way the forum is laid out without them but if it helps pay hosting fees and stuff like that well who am I to say anything. Its very nice of you to ask an opinon aswell I must say.

I don't visit to much the main page, but only the forum 95% of the time, and I thought: the Google ads could disappear when we're logged in (just like on Discogs), so it's mostly the Guests who'd see them but still I think we got more guests than registered users?

Google ads aren't that bad and like Aquila said, they're not as bad as those fuckin flash ads or worse, the ones that open a new window when ya close em. Pure evil.

make ads only appear for not registered users

the site requests more and more bandwidth, even if I removed the downloads and the old site is hidden
