Post subject:  end of the world

yeas it's true on 10 september 2008,in 4 days we could all be dead.
because on that day the ,,big bang'' experiment will take place in an laboratory situated in a underground lab 100 meters below earth in geneva.that means that a particle accelerator will recreate a black hole,so the scientists can lear about how the universe was created.right now a group of scientist are trying to stop this experiment because it's posible that the black hole or the worm hole created could survive and swalow the planet inside out.the experiment is funded by 20 countrys imagine that.
i agree this is fucked, and we shouldn't play with something this dangerous, but there are a lot of twat's out there who say it's perfectly safe.imagine there is 1 chance in a milion that this could swalow earth in a few seconds and destroy the whole solar system ,would you do the experiment,no,i don't think so.
it's very surprising that there are riots and manifestations against nato, against g8 summit, against terrorists, but no one gives a shit about this.there's nothing on tv either.quiet everywhere on the most important subject from all times.i think this beats pretty much every other thing that hapened or is hapening in the world right now.more important than global warming,or even the children dying in africa.
let's face it who the fuck gives those fuckers the right to mess with something that would kill every living thing on this planet in a second.if they wanna blow a nuke in their countrys so be it,but something this dangerous, jeezus.

now this is something to think about, does it still matter that cooglesz stole something?that you have a shit job?that don't have a bilion dollars when you know in 4 days your existance will be terminated?

and yes, the end of the world is coming and prodigy still didn't release a album

naaaaah, we'll be fine. if we're not, then you have permission to kill me :)

i dont care how the universe was created... i really don't. its not something thats gonna bug the hell out of me unless i know lol. if it does prove how everything started then people will just go "ooooo ok then, so THAAATS how it happened" then that'll be the end of it. total waste of money.

that's not the point.the point is that they are creating a black hole,i hope you know what those are, the most dangerous thing in the entire universe.if a black hole existed on the edge of our galaxy we would have been fucked and now they are creating one on earth.how dumb is that?even if the whole is amilion part of a milimeter,at a nano size it still can grow and eat the planet
here's a picture of the accelerator

and a video to what would hapen to the earth if they don't succeed on closing it

Sometimes, it's better NOT to know of these things... :?

What is the actual chance of this going wrong? The video disturbs me, even though it's just an animation.

doesn't matter.no matter how small the chances,it's not worth doing it.and you are right.i'm sorry for reading this, now i can't stop thinking about it.it's pretty serious stuff.
and if they succed and the experiment goes well, then they will get the balls to do something even more stupid and dangerous.
i can't believe this cossted 3 billion euros.with that money they could have found the cure for cancer or aids,or buy food for africa for a few years.instead what is the point of this?we will know hoe the universe is created?so what what's the point?does it worth dying for it?
i don't wanna sound to paranoid, but people who now something about black holes know why i am scared

The chance is very small. It may theoretically create a very small black hole when its at full operational speed, but they are estimated only to last nanoseconds. *IF* it really became a huge one that rips the earth apart, just be glad that it will be over fast.

Does anybody else get a serious Half Life vibe from all this???

"prepare for unforseen consequences"

..that does it... if anything comes out of the experiment..

Ofcourse, we could stay here and kill eachother for centuries in the name of all sorts of gods. By making an experiment like this, and more and more after this one, religion gets a proper smack in the face, because with experiments like this, you have undeniable proof about creation and the past of our planet. About time I think. Religion has done the same amount of killing in it's existence compared to the effect of one small black hole so I'm not THAT scared.

i have never heard about this experiment before, this is insane, if it will create lots of small black holes it will not disappear, they should make these experiments at mars or somewhere else not the damn earth

How would you build a 17 mile long machine on a planet far away?
