I don't know about you, but I LOVE Christmas! I'm counting down the days, and as some of you may know, I love my countdowns hehe. So here i'm sharing the fact that it is now only 10 days til Christmas! What are your thoughts on Christmas? Do you love it, hate it? Have you got all your Christmas presents for people? Have you asked for anything in particular? Discuss! |

awwwww well i love it! i've got all my christmas presents sorted for people i'm buying for. i'm a big kid still, so i wake up at 7am and wake everyone up and make them come downstairs to open presents one of the things me and two of my friends do each year is to buy each other something they'd like and something we know they'd hate. no idea why, but its fun on christmas morning to see what sort of shit you wake up with i've had an arnold schwarzenegger colouring book, a huge plastic bull, a collection of terrible ninja films. this year i've took my revenge by buying one of them a human size inflatable Mr Blobby also, i love christmas trees! we always get a real one and the smell of walking in the living room in the morning is amazing, they smell so good! we have the inside of the house decorated, we dont do the outside, we're not over the top like some people. getting together with all my family aswell is a great thing, i have such a huge family and i hardly get to see them most of the time, so its the one time of year where we all get together between the week before and week after christmas wooooo! also, advent calanders! its the one month of the year where you wake up to a piece of chocolate every morning, unless thats the sorta thing you do anyway lol. |

Cristmas is quite OK for me. Although all the buzz around it, what starts in the beginning of December is really tiring and annoying. Me and my family isnt cristian, its more about getting together, sharing some presents and gaining some weight Although we have one interesting tradition, for fourth year now. Because it is winter soltice, were days go longer and nights shorter, its like light glorys over darkness. And we follow little improvised ancient-estonian tradition . We climb on top of one of the close situating ancient fortess-mountain and lite a bonfire, which symbols light. And then we just drink, chat and go back home. |

To me X-mass is such as a day as every other days are. I only liked it as a child. I actually think the same about every other feast-days. Birthday, name-day, x-mass, new years eve, etc, etc. And it's funny when someone says that "come on there only one new years eve in a year". So? There's also only one april 11 in a year too. Why don't we celebrate in every day? However, I don't hate these days. But what I dislike the most is birthday. Why should I celebrate that I got older again? Why should I celebrate that I'm nearer to death by one year again? I'll celebrate my 100th b-day if I'll still live then, cos that's a great age to reach, but who cares about the others? |
