Hallo!
Well I'm just searching an english word, name, or a description of a CD packaging. Albums using the packaging I'm talking about are for example the Special Edition of The Prodigy's Singles collection or Nine Inch Nails's "Downward Spiral". The CD's are placed standardly in a Jewel Case. But I'm searching the name of this hard paper-thing (cartboard like) where you put the Jewel Case in.
Does this paper-thing have a special package name like "Jewelcase" or "Digipak"????
Thanks!

good question
a digipak version of an album usually comes in a card casing like the firestarter and breathe singles for instance
the pacakaging to their law is just a card sleeve in my opinion
so personally i dont think it has any special name

You're thinking of a slipcase, or card (outer) sleeve:
This is a gatefold:
And of course, this is a digipak:
