is there a program that can tell you the names of the songs that you have burnt onto a cd?? Ive been looking everywhere... ive got all these cds that ive burnt with various songs, remixes ect. but its frustating not knowing the names of the songs... plz help! |

i would like to know a program which can tell me the names of recordings. i have recorded an awesome track from the radio and i just cant find it. so i have to listen to the 40 secs shit quality radio rip. |

Theres freedb.freedb.org, but if you recorded songs randomly, well it doesnt work. freedb.freedb.org only works for album/compilations/whatever identification. |

you guys have probably already tried this but winamp does the trick for any solid albums you have. but if your downloading albums from the net make sure to get a cue file and that will contain all the information you need |

You can also try CDex. That connects to a CD database too. To search for randomly recorded tunes try googling for the lyrics. Or just post the clip and someone may recognise it.. |

i-tunes automatically connects to a database when you insert a cd and if you burnt the said cd on that computer it shud have id'd for you already |

thanks but all those tend to only work for a cd that you have copied but you dont know that names, rather than a mix cd you randomly make. but thanks anyway. |
