It's kinda sad to hear he has died, mostly because I remember my youth in the 80's when he was at his peak. Every kid at school wanted to be like him.

record label execs are rubbing their greedy little hands together right now imagining all the re-releases and cover tributes they can cash in on after this I bet... go and check out any music sharing site and I bet all the MJ albums are getting downloaded in huge amounts as I type this.. The only thing annoying me about all this is that some people I know are all of a sudden acting like they've been full bigtime MJ fans all their lives. When if I had asked them yesterday what they thought about him they wouldn't have made such a big deal. We all know these kind of people. They annoy the hell outta me.. I have never been a full on MJ fan, but watching his early shit was legendary. Watch the footage of him busting out the Moonwalk for the first time and it's just wicked.

FUCK!!! he was a hero to me growing up, even though i wasnt alive during his peak my older brothers were big fans and i used to sneak out their prized vinyl copy of thriller. apparently he was going to unveil a new move that was going to outshine the moonwalk in the upcoming concerts. would have loved to have seen that. what pisses me off even more is the fact he never got to regain the respect he deserved after all the false allegations and media harassment. the last time i heard anything of him was thru a prank call by some guy pretending to be akon. from the most admired star in the world to the butt of a paedophile joke. not cool, RIP

I remember when I was about 9 yo, I wanted to marry him lol I never was a huge fan of Michael's music, but through my entire childhood I was growing up along with his songs and awesome video's. I think its not fair he left us so early RIP Michael
