He's a door bastard, not exactly doing much for the Scottish stereotype but fuck it at least he's patriotic. He's proud to be Scottish and that's enough for me!! Brittish............. PAH!

Anyway to the point, who thinks he can do it?

My personal opinion is that he doesn't have the expierience yet, when/if it comes down to the final with Federer I think Andy will suffer from the nerves. The amount of media attention etc surrounding him is bound to be a strong factor. Plus the fact Federer looks as good as he ever has, forget that fact Andy has beaten him more times than he has. Federer has god knows how many finals under his bealt, he's a seasoned pro and possibly the best tennis player ever.

Hopefully Andy proves me wrong, I'd love to see him win it. I think he needs to win a different grand slam first before he can get to grips with wimbeldon, probably the US Open.

I'll be cheering him on, not as a British person but as a Scot.

I can't stand how the media in the UK claim how a sportsperson/celebrity/any other famous person is British when they are doing well even though are Scottish, Welsh or from N.Ireland.
But when they are doing terrible, the media make no qualms about saying exactly where they are from and denounce their 'Britishness'.
I fuckin hate that inferiority complex in the British media.

I really hope if Murray wins he has the Scottish flag around him and not the union jack.

/rant over :-)

british / scottish aside, I simply want him to win on the basis that he has improved so damn much since last year and all that shit from nadal etc. So I will be hoping he wins mainly for that reason.
