I used hang out with a bunch of heavy metal dicks and they were always listening to full death metal shit where da singer does his best devil voice inpersonation. Man I was so bored off hearing that shit. It wasn't until the I discovered The Prodigy did my musical taste start to develop.

Prodigy totally changed my musical tastes. Before I got into them I was pretty much strictly into Rock/Alt. Early 90's bands like Soundgarden, Nirvana, I Mother Earth, The Tea Party, Stone Temple Pilots, etc. Also listened to tons of classic rock Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, CCR, Rolling Stones, AC/DC, etc. Led Zeppelin was by far my favourite band until Prodigy supplanted them. Now I don't listen to very much rock, mostly Electronic, D&B, and Hip Hop.

I heard no good, poison, breathe, and smack my bitch up when they first got out years ago, but i didnt really get into prodigy and explored it before somewhere around 2000 (and when i joined the forums in early 2004).
Before (and still) i listened to lots of different types of trance and techno. Now i also listen to DnB and other breakbeat genres, that i didnt know much of before. Im very strictly an electronic music lover. Rock never did it for me

In the end of the 80´s up to the beginning of the 90´s only state of the art pop music and dance music [Rick Astley, S-Express, Talking Heads, Kylie Minogue, Pet Shop Boys, Milli Vanilli, Snap, Technotronic, etc] and some oldies during that time [Beatles i.e.]
I ever hated the music of the beginning of the 80´s - especially the german "NDW" = Neue Deutsche Welle [Nena, Peter Heppner, etc.]
I hated the music here in the beginning of the 90´s wich was called Euro-Dance [Culture Beat, DJ Bobo, Blümchen], but there were some techno-productions I liked and I´m disgracing myself today [Technohead, Dune, First Scooter Stuff]
Else i liked: Michael Jackson, then 2 unlimited and then similar came "Everybody In The Place" in ´92 .......and I've been hexed ever since
Today I also listening to everything I like, this could be every music direction, but prodigy is and will ever be my fav...
