Hey people
I'm thinking of getting a Yamaha amp and KEF IQ90 speakers just wondering if anyone else has had experience of these speakers, are they any good?
Also what do you guys recommend for listening to prodigy and other artists that have heavy BASS !
Cheers

for my pc and gaming and movie watching i use these:
had them for about 6 years now, though i've replaced the rear speakers with some Warfdales as the old rear ones were pretty silent.

I can recommend a set of DALI stereo speakers. Not super cheap, but sounds very good and are very well balanced.

I've got an ancient set up on my PC, 4x50w Cambridge Soundworks satellites and a 200w sub that I've had for years, but I've never needed to turn them up past about 5 or 6:
These were the dogs bollocks for the money back in 1999.

I have this system rigged up in my room
with these bad boys
I have the speakers wall mounted on brackets in the corners of my room.
My advice would be to find a set of speakers with a clean true bass rather than an overbearing noise that drowns the mid and the treble. I've never been too fond of the satellite and sub combo as it kinda loses the mid range unless you got a really good Bose system.
Really depends on what size room you'll be using them in. if its a big room with little clutter, i'd pick some decent floorstanding speakers like the ones you said. If not i'd get the smaller versions like the IQ30's and wall mount them.

I recently upgraded to those:
Satellites might not be the best, but the bass is really deep an powerful.
