Dublin band Noise Control are proud to announce the release of their debut full length album “Our Life, an uncompromising fusion of electric guitars and bass, big beat drums, dance inspired synthesizers and hip hop influenced vocals.
In an novel move, the band have decided to offer the album as a free download on its release date, underlining their ethos of making music for everyone to move to and be moved by.
“Our Life” sees Noise Control deliver the intensity and integrity of their well honed live performances over a pulsating eleven track album that showcases the band’s energetic and unapologetic sonic desire to keep the crowd moving. This is hands up, peak time music for the masses who want to have fun!
Lead single 'Take It' features Shahin Badar, the dynamic Asian pop star who's silken alaap chant vocals famously appeared on The Prodigy's smash hit Single “Smack My Bitch Up”. Badar recently headlined the Festival of World Cultures, at which she invited Noise Control onstage to perform 'Take It', an honour repeated by RTE televisions liberal use of the track during the 2010 World Cup and the Champions League Final. Often used by the media as soundtracks for high energy events, Noise Control have never been shy of also maximizing the potential exposure of their tracks through various forms of multimedia, most potently on Disney Interactive’s use of two of the bands tracks on worldwide released XBOX 360 and PS3 racing video game “Pure”.
Personally chosen by The Prodigy as opening act for the Irish leg of the “Their Law” tour the Dublin quintet found themselves playing massive indoor venues like the Odyssey Arena in Belfast and the O2 in Dublin. After that extraordinary baptism of fire the band has continued to lend their support to a host of international touring acts including Underworld, Tricky, Asian Dub Foundation and Calvin Harris while constantly honing their dance fueled sound at summer festival slots at Electric Picnic and Castle Palooza to an ever expanding fan-base.
Their next live outing is a slot at Phantom's First Friday gig in the Academy on Friday October 1st before they launch into
a headline show in Dublin's newest venue, The Grand Social on Saturday Oct 16th followed by a nationwide tour to promote an album that's sure to catch fire as they burn up dance-floors around the globe.Shahin Badar will be flying out to Ireland and will join the band on stage on the 1st of october to perform thier fantastic single 'Take it'
