None. I use my shitty old Samsung for making calls, with the odd text. That's all I need a phone to do. |

Like Jetsonic sayd, i also use my phone only for calling and texting. they just make us buy this expensive toy if you don't wana look left behind, and theres just 100 functions what without we have been able to cope ages. |

I work as a sales consultant in a firm that also sells phones and computers. For private i use iPhone, and as a work phone i use today a HTC Incredible S. I change workphone quite often, to always know my way around the newest phones and systems. Pro iPhone for me is that iOS is a very smooth operating system, and although Apple is very strict in what goes on apple market and so on, everything works, and the are very user friendly. So i can't seem to put it down. Negative with iOS is that it's a bit limited and very locked to Apple's soulutions and tools, if you're not one of them who jailbreaks it and opens it up more. Pro Android is that it's a lot more open operatingsystem, and you can build you're phone much more to your own liking. It's also much easier to transfer images, music, programs and video back and forth to your computer. And from a customer point of view, we have a lot less service issues with HTC then other brands like Sony Ericsson, LG, Samsung, Huawei, ZTE and so on. HTC seems to be very well built, and is my favourite amongst Android-based phones today. And also, be a bit careful when you download Android-apps, cause a lot of them are bad written, and can fuck up your phone so it drains battery much faster, and generally locks it and fucks it up so you have to factory reset it more often. But first of all, like jugo and jet and the others are saying. Think about what you want to use your phone to do. If you're just calling and texting, you don't need an expensive smartphone. If you want to surf online, have good email solutions, want it to replace both your old phone, mp3-player and so on, you go for a smartphone. I use it for everything, even more often then I use my laptop. So for my use, it's brilliant. Hell, I even use it to download torrents to my laptop at home, when I'm at work through the phone, and when I get home, I can control XBMC on my xbox with my iPhone. So i love my smartphones! |
