Hey that's nice. But it's far too clean! Real Spits were bloody filthy in WW2 with exhaust and gun-smoke trails, mud and oil stains, battle damage etc, and repairs were very obvious. Yours must have just come off the production line :D Curiously enough that Spitfire really did exist, MK528 served in early 1944 in the 222nd Maintenance Unit, then transferred to Casablanca on 6th June 1944 (D-Day) then was finally struck off on 30th April 1947. The history lesson for today thus ends |
