Personal opinion: I think the first two minutes are a weird choice, sometimes it's overdramatic because of editing and music.

Otherwise, it made me realize something I already knew BUT I'm confronted this time. Normally I just go on after some newsflash about Muslims.

I think something must be done though. But I have no idea what. Discussion seems impossible with Quran fanatics like the ones in the documentary.

The muslims here say that this movie will spread even more hate and racism, and they are off course worried. I agree with them to a point. I usually don't care anymore. I think it will be forgotten soon, unless Bin Laden and such makes some sort of attack against civilians in Europe. He recently said that there will be consequences for the danish muhammad cartoons so...

interesting, but you can find the same messages in the bible (the stuff about the Armageddon is very hardcore), and get the same sort of quotes from christian extremists too. watch any christian 'god channel' on cable tv and you'll be shocked at how extreme they are. does this mean that all christians are the same?

you can't have a discussion with ANY religious fanatic. they're all as bad as each other.

don't forget that the west has being killing in the name of christianity, and trying to dominate the world for quite a few centuries now. it's not a purely muslim thing.

I worked with this Lebanese guy who said muslim people would kill the other muslim people who tried to get that message across. Poor guy could never return home or he would have people waiting to kill him and his family, so he says.

another religion or belief is always going to be a threat to someone with fixed views because it undermines their faith and creates doubt. that's a scary thing for them to deal with, and fear breeds hatred usually.

unless people talk about these things together, the radicals (muslim and christian) win. the extremists on both sides want a 'final conflict'. there's over 6 billion of us now. the last thing we need is a 3rd world war.

what gets me is that they (and judaism) share the same 'god' and 'holy book'.
the main belief structure is based on the 'carrot and stick' idea: do what they say say and you get rewarded with 'heaven' - don't and you go to 'hell'.
the only difference is their interpretation of how the 'message' was given to the world.

personally i'm more into a cross between buddhism and the american indian way of viewing the world.

I did and I'm speechless. This documentary had a great impact on me and will remain to be thought of for a long time. I've tried to understand everything I have seen in this movie myself before and tried to figure out how things work around me. This documentary gives me quick access to the logical and reasonable answers to those questions: it simply sums up almost all answers I had concerning the world and all that shit.

But I do also believe loads of people will ignore the points that are made in this movie just because they see it as an attack on the collective accepted and believed lies. The shit they believe in now is hard to be proven untrue to them you know? That's how dumb most of us are made and held.
