i find it strange when a band covers the prodigy, they usually overcompensate melodically because they cant match the original production with real instruments.

its like they are thinking ''oh listen to how simple this techno tune is, we can do better/heavier than that''

then they water it down with a ton of guitars and ruin it.

i really loved the empirion mix back in the day, didnt even need the fucking guitar lick
