I've tried listening to the original again but I just dont want to anymore, because I'm missing all the extras that are in the newer track.
To say they are the same track is like calling the original E.I.T.P. and Fairground mix exactly the same.
Well thats what I think.
Exactly.. The same with "The Way It Is" to the (live remix), or "Spitfire" to the (05 version)...

no its not its totally different from what it is with spitfire and way it is.
spitfire has a couple more drum beats
the way it is just to me sounds like the way it is
Shadow from pgr is extended and edited and arranged differently from the vexille soundtrack, the one on vexille sounds older than the pgr version, it hasn't got the massive effect like no good in 94 and no good in 05 but it still shows quite a bit of difference.
say shadow was the new single, just play along with me here for a second, the vexille one would definatly be the one on the single (which also contained say... heatwave hurrican and umm no souviners) i know im taking the piss here but this is what is just an example.
now say in 2008 after the realise of the shadow single in september 07 and the touring starts for the new album, liam decides to play shadow live, the pgr version would be the version he'd play live and everyone know's live versions are "Better" than studio version

To be honest i dont understand why this thread is so long, i know theres not much news about but to chew on the same fat for so long is a bit tedious!

well when your waiting ages for the first "new" (Studio) Track since 2005 it is a 2 year wait and new material always deserves plenty of talk
and yeah i know we got warning but we herd that live before it came out on a studio version

Got my promotional copy the other day. The version of Shadow lasts 6:59 and from what I heard it's the same as the PGR4 one. Haven't had time to properly compare though, neither did I have time to rip and upload it.

Been quite sick for the past week (infection on my airways, ear and mouth), but doing a bit better again. Did one meeting at work yesterday afternoon and working half the day again today. I'll try to rip it this evening mate.
