On the inside back page of this weeks NME they have a preview of next weeks issue and looks as tho The Prodigy will be on the front cover and also will be the main interview feature with a good 3-4 page spread devoted to them

It says on the inside back cover of this weeks issue -

prodigy dead. ridiculous how the media has a separate reality from the one where all the other people live. (PS-jack white has a new band?!? the fucker definitely gave up on the stripes. idiot)

moaning again and again... this is just a strong metaphore headline nothing more..plus as we all know the band was indeed almost "dead" before AONO's release.

As for Jack White's new band Dead Weather - it'll be an amazing band if you ask me! Jack teams up with Allison Mosshart from The Kills! Before bitchin everything around you may check this (+ Jack never said that The White Stripes are over):
