Hmm disapointing. Problem is Liam loves the original so I doubt he went into making that remix thinking he would Improve on it.
I like some of the synth parts near the end but theres no atmosphere to it and it just sounds like he pasted some crappy unused synth ideas from his "not for the next album" bin.

I really don't understand, why some people still write on these forums, all they do is dissing Liam for not making '91-97 style songs. Well, 13 years went by, get used to it! Luckily there are some fans left, who likes most of the changes.

Its Hip Hop, so its a beat and a lead with some lyrics

Taking those 3 elements hes done pretty well, listen to Diesel Power as its exactly the same in structure and influence

Just a straight up banger, it's not supposed to be remix of the year™

its not a touch on diesel power, don't be ridiculous. The tone is totally different for one thing, diesel power has a much better structure and progression and way more atmosphere and all the samples sit well in the track.

In this remix the samples feel plonked in and don't sit that well with the rest of the track.

Its not the worst thing I've ever heard i'd just rather listen to the original track, If you like it cool knock yourself out, but you cant say its on a par with Diesel power thats fucking retarted.

I was refering to the people who always complains about the new stuff, and says that Liam should make music like MFTJG & FOTL. I thought it was easy to understand what i meant....

I think that's an individual matter, people have different taste in what sounds good, you know. In my opinion, Diesel Power is boring, 'cause it's loops all the way through with a few surprises, but many people like this, so fair enough.

Going by "yo people, was asked to remix one of all time favourite tunes, so here it is 99 problems Jay-Z Play it loud! LH" I would assume Liam did this remix recently as in this year if not in the last month or two.
