my idea was that if liam has worked with both song, they could be in the album too. i have the feeling, that he has made them for 1-2 hours, after has anounced that he will make the lost beats EP. I am serious btw. I am very big fan of the Band, but feel that after so much years he could make an album with 14-15 songs, and when he wish to make a surprise for us with such an EP, to put their min.6-7 songs. Come onnnn he is talking bout a new album since 3 years and nothing.. I am really dissapointed. Still waiting for my boxset, there is some delay in the german amazon, normaly it must have been shipped today.. But today I thought bout this boxset. We are receiving an 40-mins album.. For 5 years Liam Howletttt has made 40 minutes quality music.. wow.. A dvd with the clips of Omen and IMD..Joke..or a easy way to make a good profit from nothing, because there are many fans all over the world, like me, like you, who will buy these boxset.
p.s. very emotional day for me.. i am a bit angry at all, maybe thats the reason to talk in this way, but i think i am right at all. anyway the album is great, i like it, much more than aono, but no way for me to talk about the best stuff liam has done ever or sth in this way. hope to see dkb and comanche in the ep, otherwise liam will receive his first point in the table with lies (come on it´s 19.february, and this will be his first lie for this year..) he is getting better. lol :)

I think everyones reading far too much into these tracks, they are ideas and leftovers and nothing else. Some people are never pleased...

absolutely right, mate.
liam probably decided to pack some unfinished ideas (most of em pretty experimental) on a disc and put it into this boxset package thinking we (fans) might find these ideas interesting.
unfortunately some of us thought "fighter beats" was gonna be the next single and now everyone feels sooooo disappointed...

i am pleased, black smoke is great, but the thing is liam has alot more shit that could have been put there heatwave hurricane for instance why didn't it get put in, it was inbetween their law era and invaders must die era, the heatwave hurricane was just an example of course, theres much more in there

just a couple of demos really just like spacehopper, only better.

would he not have put on the big gundown and disko punks on the japan bonus tracks if they were better, maybe fighter beat / black smoke are the best tracks on the lost beats ep and thats why they are on the japan imd, so dont get your hopes up people!

fingers crossed the b-sides for the singles will be better!

yeah i see what you are saying and you are half right but why include it in a boxset or release it all? its an insult to release this and charge people for it! yes you could say dont buy it then but as most people on here bought it before knowing what was on it. people are not pleased because it is so unbelievably shit what he has put on there..i wonder if this stuff was the crap they made in the first 4 or 5 months when they came up with nothing..thank god they didnt continue with it!
