I'm ignorant... right. I was taking into account the fact that Liam described the loop as "sick", I feel his standards may have slipped. I'm also taking into account the loops on the other site which outdid this by miles.

One thing that most people are missing is the thinking behind putting the loop up. When the new site was launched the prime gripe from people was "there's no loops on it", and now there's a loop on it and people seem to be moaning "it's not a full track". The point is Liam has obviously read the forums & comments and decided to add some content - he's thinking of the fans! Two diary entries from MR H inside a month, a positive response in adding content that people were asking for and some people are still complaining!! He had a groove he'd been playing with on his laptop and instead of consigning it to the depths of his harddrive he thought "the fans have been asking for some loops etc, i'll give them that rather than just waste it". Setting up two labels, putting together a new festival set for the summer, finishing a new album, surely this must be time consuming? And despite that he's already making more of an effort to keep info and little tit-bits coming than he has in the past - respect to the guy I say! If it's not enough for you, you don't like the quality of the loop, there aren't enough flashy lights on the website in your opinion, you've already decided that the album will be crap on the basis of 'who the fuk is eddy cochran' and you want more MORE MORE now NOW NOW, then piss off and listen to Girls Aloud! Short of him turning up on their doorstep with a copy of the new album, a signed pair of pants and a big hug it seems some people will never be happy. He's making the effort and trying to let the fans have more than before. Some people want to hear trigger/no souvenirs/gun reprise etc which is fair enough but he's concentrating on new material and has other priorities right now. Enjoy the raised level of fan 'contact' and sit patiently - new material will be here soon enough.

agreed there, i was bitching about there being no loops, this one came along and im really happy again about it, all im really sorta bitching about is the old demo's but im not dissing liam or saying he's a cunt.
i like the demo, i don't know why people need to diss liam and bitch about there being this loop due to the facts
1: its somthing new, like it or not its just for the site
2: if we never had this you guys (including myself) would be bitching about there being no loops.
3: if its reaally that bad, then don't hit the play button, shut up about it.
think thats enough said

No, it's not fair to bitch about Liam and say he's a twat or whatever for putting up the loop. Fair play to him for making the effort and all, I'm just saying, I don't like the loop, sounds too much like Hell Above Water by Curve without vocals, the intro is almost exactly the same!

God, they're just not round my house playing in my living room enough and giving me VIP tickets and private jets to all their gigs! (worth a try at least).

That demo sounds very interesting to me, bright beat and simple melody. Machinegun sound also is very nice =)

In my honest opinion. This must be a small teaser at the new direction of the albumn. Now don't jump all over me and say "OMFG are you kidding I would kill myself if it sounded like this."
I just mean that dirty style. It just has a badass feeling too it you know? If you can imagine this loop as a brainchild of bigger things. Suffice too say I'm quite excited.
People are talking about new sounds. I've been boggling my mind ever since a new albumn was on the cards. What new sound could they create that isn't similar too anything we've heard before? In a way... It just doesn't seem entierly possible, in fact I don't think it's possible at all.
So then we come to it at last. How does he create this new sound? How far does he go? How rapid can the music be before it draws comparrison to some D&B shit? If the new albumn were to go with the style of this loop it wouldn't be a bad thing.
The prodigy have that untouchable thing. They define themselves, they are a genre. They have to sound like the prodigy without sounding too much like something else......
I'm gonna go lie down now! lmao
