Regarding Keith and Maxim live lyrics not appearing on the released version of some tracks, the only reason most people expect lyrics on these tracks is because they have heard a live recording of the track first off the internet. Originally the track may not have been written with lyrics in mind. For example, 'Molotov Bitch' was played live before it was released on CD. When it was played live Maxim did vocals over it. MP3 downloads of live gigs didn't happen in 1996 therefore when 'Molotov Bitch' was released people didn't miss the vocals because the majority had never heard it played live. This is no longer the case. These days people usually hear the live version before the 'official' version.

But all of the tracks mentioned are BETTER with lyrics! Especially Warning. How would you feel if Firestarter was played live with lyrics and then released without them? Cause that's what it feels like for me. Warning is (was) my favorite track.

I hear ya JJ, but I think Liam's tracks are always better with vocals. I heard No Man Army before I ever heard One Man Army, and I definnitely like it more with vocals. I think most of the tracks feel like they're missing something without vocals, even if it's simply a chorus or hook line sample like in Jericho or No Good. As for Molotov Bitch, I have a remix somewhere with Peter Piper vocal samples thrown over top of it, and it adds a lot to it. So myself personally, I always prefer with vocals, but that's just me. But yeah that's the era we live in, Liam should just accept it instead of keep trying to fight it.
But what everyone is really forgetting is the business side of releasing this track in a film. Here's what happened. The film got a Synchronization License from Liam to use the track in the movie. Most likely it's only a short snippet used in the film itself (say 20 seconds during a car chase for example). They would have no use for the vocals during the movie (especially "I'm not a punk, i'm just a cunt"). A lot of time songs are used, it's just the melody, or guitar riff that the producers are looking to synchronize with the images, or use it as a transition from one scene to another. So given that, there really is no reason for Liam to release Warning on this particular release with vocals. However, I would like to see the full vocal version (and possibly remixed as he likely slowed it down for the film) released as a B-side on one of the singles.

In respone to Gillenium, I myself honestly do hope we get a studio version of Warning with Keith on it cos I love that track. But ever since tracks like Back 2 Skool, WTFU have been released without vocals I've been hearing "if this track doesn't get released with vocals it will be shit" that just annoys the fk outta me! Guess I was in a shitty mood when I left the comment about everyone being flint lovers. Sorry if anyone took offense to that. Yeehaw!
I reckon bigsugar's got it worked out, It's probably called "first warning" for that reason.... Thats its only for the movie

As "First Warning" is the theme for these guys, I think the vocals would have fitted in quite well.

He also said that nothing was decided as far as Warning making the record..... (on the new brainkiller interview methinks...)
