If you have heard these tracks a few times live, in person then fair enough but you can't discredit music from a phone recording at a gig.
As far as melodies and general style goes? 'Course you can hear that. I'm not talking production values.
I'm not even talking about arrangement stuff, as this is probably going to change until the last moments.
That 10 sec clip just sounded more atmospheric than the rest to me, simple as that. I'd love to be wrong, all I want is a groovy, funky, creative Prodge record that's loaded with atmosphere and feels like a great album. But until now none of the early heard tracks from whatever album era ever changed for the better, for my taste. Again, that doesn't mean I expect a bad album. Stuff sounds fairly good. Some surprise tracks we haven't heard will be there, too. Not ringing the alarm. I just see what direction this is going in and it just happens to be good but not outstanding.

So XL's reissue of Their Law is starting to make sense with all the latest news. Think we can get a new single this summer. A singles collection just in time to coincide with a brand new single release. Looking like an album in the fall. Think we will get some sorta official announcement in the coming months.

The only thing I'm worried about is we're going to get a short album. INVADERS was pretty short but look at the lengths of the tracks we've been hearing live. FUK me

I doubt the versions we heard live were full versions, more like edits. Maybe Liam didnt wanna give away the full tracks just yet. Especially the way gigs are recorded and shared as soon as they're finished. I'm sure anything that was played live that actually ends up on the album will be fully fleshed out.

I really miss some classic 4/4 more danceable tunes from them.
Re-Amped Mix of Invaders definitely received a thumbs up from me.
New albums seems more "rocky"... but c'mon bring the dance vibes back.

Spot on. B&E, Funky Shit, weird stuff like Poison. These types of beats and sceneries would be nice. In an updated form, of course. B&E especially had that evolving flair, it was so long and twisted. Perfect dim-light headphone material.

B &E, Heat the Energy, Rhythm of Life etc peak of Prodigy stuff for me, the dark heavy 4/4 beats and breaks plus haunting synths, just as punk as anything rocky theve produced, perhaps more so. Shame Liam sold of most of the gear that made those great tracks.
