Hope that 'new' isn't true, if Liam 'only' has 8 tracks already finished I don't think the new album will be released later this year. Still lots of tracks to complete the whole album. Not a good 'new', in my opinion.

fLiNTy FROM OFFICIAL FORUM SAYS Quote: Was browsing some other fansites and there is some short of confusion about when the new album will be out and stuff. They probably done interviews telling the same thing somewhere, more or less, dunno, I can only tell you what they told us there: 8 tunes ready but not mixed yet, needs another 3 or 4 tracks for the Album. Liam doesnt know when the new album will be out, because simple you cant say when those tracks will be ready and when they r gonna get mixed and mastered. After that, never forget the 2-3 months of copy pressing and promotion of the new Album after its done, and since Liam doesnt like the "Christmas" time of year for a release, I am really guessing, and thats my personal opinion, that the Album will be out next year BUT we can hope for a single this year? Now I see we forgot to ask them about any singles b4 album release Sad . Anyway, thats all, he didnt say which tracks will be on the Album, the only thing he said is that they are ready to play more new tunes from the forthcoming album (but as said b4, they arent mixed yet). Then there was "something" in the ear about changing Their Law and make it maybe faster, or a gabba version of it, but this was mostly funny talk at the moment (I was mostly convicing him to never drop Poison from the setlist as its my fav tune Razz ). Poison Live changed over the years slightly with some simple changes over the years and I think Liam isnt ready to drop their law from the setlist so maybe the slighty changing their law talk there. Let me say sitting there with the guys and listening to the ideas and talking about them makes u understand that the band will be certnely here for the next 20 years... so many ideas, visions etc. of course parts of them will be realised, but some exciting stuff there IF things should happen that way. Anyway, back to normal life now..

I have 2 agree with either remixing or dropping their law completely, i mean its cool, but not for every damn gig since 94! the guys run out of lyrics, n all u hear is "its my law, its my law, no, i beg your pardon, i believe its my law"

I sort of lost faith in the album coming out this year when Liam recently said it was 3/4 done. It doesn't take a genius to work out that given he has 3 or 4 more tracks to make that it will take a long time. This is Prodigy after all. On top of that there's mastering, and the fect they have a lot of live gigs which they're doing now. He doesn't like releasing close to Xmas but with the 2-3 month lead time after it's done it'll be Xmas at the earliest, and that's just not a Prodigy time of year to release. Next year will be the year, it's pretty obvious. We still get Break & Enter 05 this year which is sounding magnificant so it's not a Prodigy-free year after all!...

I beg to differ. Their Law is one of the tunes that should never be dropped, and not even changed. It's so perfect as it is.
If I was to see The Prodigy live now, and they would play either Warriors Dance or Their Law, I would preffer them to play the latter.
And who cares about running out of lyrics? In this case should SMBU be dropped as well?

why this delay? why did they said in the first place that the album will come out this year, that the album is almost ready, that we will have the name of the album 2 months ago and a single released? didn't they know that they haven't got anything ready?
liam keeps talking about respect 4 the fans but i don't see any.they keep promising stuff, and then they go in to silence.he should at least tell us if the album is coming out this year or next year, and this time i want him to be serious about it.
i wonder can't they release a single now like they did in 96 before fat of the land?if i recall corectly they released then firestarter and breathe a year before the album came out.he could do the same thing now.it's already past 4 years from aono and it looks like it will be 5 years if they don't hurry up.and all of this for an album they said it would be ready from 2006.i remember when aono came out, he said that it won't pass that long before the new album comes.it won't be 7 years again, but it apears that he was wrong.
don't be mad at me guys but i have a very low moral now.and damn it, drop some of the old tunes from the set.or make the set bigger to include some other new tunes.warning should remain, girls should be played again, back 2 skool, break'n'enter, fuel my fire and new stuff would be nice.it's just boring to hear that 70 % off the setlist hasn't change in the last 10 years.
