bollocks, keith is very funny, he has by far the most personality and intelligence hence why he is in the videos the most, maxim and liam never have much to say and if they do its the same thing and not of much importance, thank God for keith otherwise these little snippets of their lives that we wouldnt ordinarily see would be so fucking lame..you need to watch the camping video with keith and listen to what he says

Freehandjunkie I'm not sure what you mean by very funny and intelligent.

Ok, it is a bit funny, but it's not that he's the first person on earth to put an usb stick to his ear and say he's uploading or whatever. Yes, the camping video is funny, but there's alot of better stuff qua humor in this world.

Also I don't really consider keith as an intelligent guy... if you listen to him... he's not able to say 2 sentences in a row without starting to mumble or repeat himself. They're succesful musicians, but I wouldn't say either of them is intelligent.

I agree with moozeblaster because it is a bit too obvious he is trying to make it entertaining and funny which doesn't make it 100% spontaneous. I'm not going to say there is no sponteanity at all, but it does seem at least a little bit forced from time to time.


Also I'm not sure why he has the most personality? You can't derive any of this from these couple of videos. You could also argue inthe other direction by saying that liam and maxim don't feel the need to draw the attention to them all the time, because they are superconfident and know their business. Hence they have more personality.

am i saying he should be up there with larry david, ricky gervais et al? im not deriving anything from two videos, im getting it from following the band since day 1 and knowing people who know keith....im merely offering an opinion of the 3 people in the band no one else....and obviously you were there when the videos were shot so you can be sure that its all planned. relax..its an a well informed opinion

keith is in your face, hyper, a clown, but also cracks like a bitch under pressure n can imagine him have a lot of hissy fits. sometimes he drowns out everyone else, other times he doesnt say a word. hits a big high n then crashes again. completely wreckless n lives for the moment

liam is the most intelligent but on the downside he seems to destroy a lot of good ideas and take his fucking time, and demanding control of everything, i think if keith wasnt around liam would be a lot more talkative, liam obviously takes care of business and tries not to fuck around too much.

maxim is the most laid back offstage, on stage he seems a diff person, its like he gets inside the mind of all the ppl buzzing, n forgets what any1 else is doing, which is perfect.

leeroy was probably the funniest of all, i think he was the most normal also, i mean, the rest of the band were fitted out with custom clothing, alternative hair styles etc hes just there with some run of the mill name brand sports clothing, i think he was just kept around as jus another mate to hang out n have a laugh with

obviously I wasn't there when the videos were shot and I'm also not claiming any special knowledge about the band like you to put me in a position where I can't be criticized. I'm merely pointing to my gut feeling which moozeblaster seems to share. Also I don't claim everything is planned, I said it doesn't feel 100% spontaneous. Some of the films feel like: oh, there's a camera here pointing at me, let's do something funny. Don't get me wrong, it's ok for them to do that and I'm sure they're having fun. That' doesn't change it's a little bit forced. That doesn't mean I think he is Paris Hilton with a 100% manufactured media personality

I was not disrespecting you for having an opinion on keith and the others. I was more questioning why you think that what you think because I have a different view on it. I gave my reasons. I am curious about yours besides 'I have been following them for a very long time', because pretty much everyone on this forum does and still there's lots of disagreement about alot of things

So relax if your opinion isn't as wellinformed as you think it is.

liam is though still a great person to listen to, particularely when he talx about music, which is his kingdom

intelligence has so many aspects, and it got nothing to do with being talkative or not. so i found your oppinion pointless

Keith is agility.

Maxim is strength.

Liam is intelligence.

I'd be happy to read a recent article where Liam talks about music on an interesting level. When I said they can't talk very well I was especially referring to keith, maybe it's the drugs that fucked up his brain, but he often reminds me of ozzie osborne(but a light version).

You are right that intelligence has many aspects and then I can agree that Liam is intelligent on that part. But that's basically what I said, they're succesful musicians.

But, from what I've seen and read so far about particularly Keith, he doesn't strike me as very intelligent in any way. That doesn't mean I consider him stupid. You need to see my post as a reaction to someone who claimed keith was intelligent. Maybe my standard for intelligence is too high or focussing on different aspects. I'm curious in what way you guys see keith as intelligent.

As a last remark, I would only consider my opinion as pointless, if nobody read it, agreed or disagreed with it and it would be totally besides the point. But People are (dis)agreeing with me and responding, so I don't consider it pointless. It could be wrong though, that's why I come here reflect my ideas on yours and see how I can improve them.
