I must agree here, the fills, new bells and whistles on top of old songs, they've all been great. I too would like something dark, something really heavy and yea, dirty. Looking forward to seeing what the setlist is like at MK! Sadly won't be there, but hopefully some of it will continue on to the festival shows!
Good interview by the way, cheers for the heads up!

You think Keith's gonna be jumping around like a crackhead at the age of 45?
They were contracted to do 2 albums with Cooking Vinyl, and I suspect it's on a time limit of 5 years. I expect a new album in 2 years MAXIMUM

I am really glad that they dig The Dead Weather - in the "Liam should have collabd w/ ____ instad of Pendulum" thread I put Jack White as my number 1 dream Prodigy collaboration
it's nice knowing that you and your music heroes share the same music taste

I want that too though. I just keep thinking the longer until it comes out, the more new tunes can be used and sampled, so it's all good. We already have over a decades new music since the last Dirtchamber. One day, one day...

Keith stated in an interview some time ago that he would continue doing gigs until he dies (dunno if he ws talking for himself or for the band though). He doesn't care if he's old or not 'as long as it's got that raw live energy'.

I can't see Keith changing, he always has energy inside him that he needs to let out. When Prodigy had down time he had knowhere to vent, relationships went sour for a period and led to his own Flint project. I don't think motorbikes are enough for him to get all that energy out, so Prodigy will continue until age is the barrier...

I don't know what happened to the band we all knew that took 5-7 year breaks between albums and was never in the public eye or doing interviews but I am glad they are gone and three fan friendly musicians have taken their place and are making the same kind of music. Bring on the next album which I have a feeling comes out in mid to late 2011

Yeah I'm glad they changed this way too. I actually don't feel like I'm always on here for no reason anymore. lol There always seems to be a new blog, video, or interview. They've definitely gotten better with putting new stuff up. Paul Dugdale Videos have been really great. They seem to be in good spirits and I actually believe them this time when they say their going to really get into working on the next album in August.
