the chemical brothers had one and half good albums, the rest were dogshit, and live they come no where near the prodigy, i can think of a lot more artists more influential than the chem brothers who also come no where the prodigy

The Chemical Brothers only really have two 'bad' albums, Push the Button and We Are the Night, though they had some good tracks. I mean come on, people bag AONO all the time and I think it's great, dare I say better than IMD? Well, they're very different.

Also, the Chem Bros latest album Further is better than IMD, though completely different.

OMG no way! IMD kicks all Chemical Brothers albums asses, even the good ones. The new Chemical Brothers is total shite. I don't think Prodigy and Chemical Brothers should be compared anymore because unlike Prodigy the Chems went to total crap, and I mean really utter shiiiite, and they were never as good in the first place. AONO is way better too for the record...

If its not Pendulum its the fuckin' Chemical Brothers...
Nothing wrong with any of the Chems albums, both Exit Planet Dust and Dig Your Own Hole are fuckin masterpieces, right up there with Music for the Jilted Generation.
A lot of the Prodigys fans aren't gonna appreciate anything they do that isn't Big Beat/Breaks, but face it, them days are long gone, you'd be moaning just as much if the Chems had just kept re-using the same old sounds again n again (cough cough.. Pendulum), but they didn't. Whereas The Prodigy went down a more Rock/Hip Hop direction towards the end of the 90s, the Chems went a more Ambient/Psychedelic route. Nothing wrong with that at all, just probably not the sorta thing Prodigy fans would appreciate.

Regardless of what anyone says or thinks, the Chems are JUST AS influential as the Prodigy. Fact!

Both those last two comments are great! I love The Prodigy, they're great, but tracks that really stand out to me are stuff like Climbatize, Skylined, Weather Experience, well pretty much MFTJG in all, it's an incredible album as well as TFOTL.

The Chemical Brothers' latest album reminds me of epic tracks like Climbatize and Skylined, all the songs are long and full of sounds. That's why I love 'Further', and The Chemical Brothers.

And yeah, Exit Planet Dust and Dig Your Own Hole are masterpieces.
