yeah and alot of us are like that Ambalina, it would take me 2 weeks to get £100 as i'm a carer for my mother and only get £50 a week, i struggle enough to buy tickets & £60 boxsets and all that shit, i always pre-order their singles because thats cheap, prodigy dont seem to realize that alot of us dont have jobs anymore and the recession has left us on our knees, were fucking skint and i dont see why we should be making their lives better than they already are considering there a shit load better than all of our lives, so the way i think of it, i'm comming first this time, not prodigy and you should be the same with your family, theres much more closer things in life than some book with pictures in it that will end up being scanned and once you've seen them its gone past its "Fun Factor"

heres a bet 90% of people buying this will regret it and the 10% will only not regret it because its limited edition and "rare"

Amen

My thoughts exacally!

I cant seem to understand 'why' they are releasing a book.
I'm pretty clued up on the fact it has pretty pictures in it and its signed. But I've done some pondering whilst sitting in front of this computer with my coffee and I just keep thinking 'why'?
Why a book?
Why dont they just publish them (the pictures) online? (cause they'll end up online anyway)
Why so much during a recession?
Why now?
Why just pictures?
To be perfectly honest why are they releasing all this shit anyway's? Is it a popularity thing? cause they are getting more popular correct?!

Argh just makes me so mad. Not that I cant afford to get one just that it seems to be money all the time. And its not the small amounts of money I'm worrying about, its the big bits of money, that have nothing to do with their music.

I'm sorry  I'll stop ranting lol.

Liam needs to cash in with selling Prodigy stuff so he can work on future projects with musicians he feels they are worth the investment. For us, spending loads of money right now, it might bring some great music forward later on..
(Allthough I personally think Liam will most likely pass away before he ever succeeds in finding a fresh and new sound which he likes, assuming a new and fresh sound is still out there somewhere..)
Maybe I'm completely wrong, but it's a positive way to look at the draining of our bankaccounts, which makes it less "wrong". ^^

If you can't buy it, deal with it. There's no use crying about it, some people can some people can't.
I think Enkoy's idea is silly to be honest, no offense mate but I wasn't put on this planet to pay Liam to be creative. I pay for goods worth buying.
At this point in my life, the cost of the book is beyond what I'm willing to pay, whereas 2 years ago, I would be all over it. It's a picture book, to me the prodigy will always be AURAL. Everything else is just fodder

None taken!
Ofcourse, for many fans and collectors, including myself, all their material is worth spending shitloads of money to own it.
But, personally, if I should ever have regrets about buying most of their material, if I ever start thinking it was a waste of money, even tho I seriously doubt that happening, I'd feel better believing the money was invested in supporting a fresh band with a good sound and smashing tunes and producing their albums afterwards. I know it sounds hypocrite..

We are all investing for the future, but definitely investing to keep The Prodigy alive and kicking for as many years as possible.

Imagine Keith announcing that, due to the insane movement and over 20 years of wicked dancing, his hip and both his knees are destroyed and that he wouldn't be able to perform unless they replaced them with artificial bodyparts, I would feel good knowing that a very small percentage of his knee or hip was actually financed by me!
Reading over what I just wrote made me realise I sound like a homeless drunk guy blabbering about visions.

surley with the amount of gigs they've done this year they've made way more than that 5 million this year if not alot more.

keith could get new body parts easy on his own.

i mean i know i dont know there money problems but i can guess there alot easier than my money problems, i can't see how they could spend all there cash within a year, its good though that they do a large amount of stuff, just the prices are usually awesome, we've had this problem before with prodigy stuff being too expensive there sort of going back to their old prices and there taking the theme "Limited Edition" a bit too serious, they even have a limited edition section, soon the Limited products on the site wont be Limited to find, if i wanted something limited i'd probably buy a promo for a 10th of the price.

if they were mass-produced i could bet everyone here would buy them even if they never had a signature and were cheaper and they'd have made more money than they have because only around 8 people have purchased them and if they were mass produced then around 40 people for every 1 person would buy and if they sold for £30 then they'd have more money.

need to remember your paying for the signature as well, and when it comes to buying signatures from official stores its often expensive because they had to sit the artists in a room for 4 hours writing signatures, so i'd not be surprised if your actually paying £30 for the signature alone.

I'm all for paying keith's broken hip, so he can keep moving(I'm not going to say dancing) on the stage, but only and only if they would do the same for me. If they agree on helping me pay for a new hip as well so I can move(I'm not going to say dance) to their music, then I'm cool with it.

I think brainkiller as a community should start raising funds for replacing broken hips of us, prodigy fans. I know it may sound silly at first, but I'm sure you'd be happy whenever you break your hip, you know you will get a new one. I'm sure we could get them signed by keith maxim and liam as well, which would be really cool. Some guy showing off with his signed photo and you can just respond: 'not bad, look here's my hip, I got it signed as well'

Anyway, I didn't buy the book. I only enjoy pictures that include myself, naked.

I belive that in Belgium, and anywhere else in Europe, you have national health services that will give you new knees and hips if you need it, FREE OF CHARGE.

and

only strippers need money to be creative.

It is not completely free of charge, government pays a certain percentage of the total cost back to you, the other percentage you have to pay yourself. It's one of the positive aspects of taxing; The health of people who live on a small income is assured in a certain way..
I tried being a male stripper for a living but that didn't work out as planned.
