SPECIAL FORCES wrote: All the drama and bs aside I want to say something. I understand that some like another "style"(?) of the band. I hate IMD but I dont think its crap and shit. Its a good album in a different direction. On the other side I love AONO but I see most people here do not like it. Thats where you all haters are wrong and deserve all the trolling you get. Anything you dont like you call it shit ect. I'm not huge fan of AONO. But I would never call it shit. Girls, Get Up Get Off, Wake Up Call, Hotride... I like those tracks.

The album, to my likings, is better than TDIME and IMD and might be on par with AONO. I need more listens though. No, this is about users insulting people because of what they like. Negative opinions are completely tollerated here, like they should. Insulting people, whether an individual or a group should not be tollerated. Why login or even register to this site if it is to insult fans enjoying themselves? To rectify them? If you come here to piss people off, expect to be pissed in the face in return. Don't like that? Jony...lets say you are correct in everything you say about NT.(you are not). Let the rest of us rub our c*cks and have fun with the new album. You made your point, enough. What do you win by telling everyone how shitty the last albums are 24/7? We get it! Are you envious that most people in here love the album?
Imagine you are in an orgy and you masturbate all alone in the corner and bitching for hours. You become annoying as fuck. Made your point, let us have our fun.

I said that I like NT, better than expected, except Fight Cocks With Cunts, which is worse than anything written by a human being in 20 centuries. Timebomb Zone is a very cool track, I miss more complexity or development, it's like having radio edits of everything, but I thought this album was going to be worse than IMD and TDIME and it is not.

Again the same BS that we don't tolerate negative opinions...
Like a million times written in other posts, many people expressed their opinion about the album, now and then. Positive or negative. We don't get pissed off with negative reviews, we get pissed off with people repeating themselves over and over again and calling shit this and that. Calling shit what other people find good, in a fan forum.
Let me spell it for you. F-A-N forum! Go to a general music forum or r/Music and repeat yourself a million times. Oh wait... there nobody will reply you. You will not get the attention you seek... right...

I just try to show you how the 99% of your post look like. no way sir, IMD and TDIME are no shit by any means, they're albums which I scarcely find the willingness to listen to, they have some great tunes, some ok tunes and some annoying tunes. And I don't like the production and mastering, this time it seems that it does not sound overproduced. I'm really tired of the Keith-punk-trash-metal type of track, that formula is over in my opinion. I like hearing synths and instruments, not a fuckin wall of sound where you distinguish nothing.

I agree that NT has better sound, it's a lot clearer. I didn't notice it as much with IMD, but TDIME did sound mushy in places. And yeah it does feel over produced.
I wonder how much of an impact Engine Earz had on the final product, but it seems like he did a great job.

This album is excellent, especially can’t stop listening to NT, even though I prefer the faster, harder tracks by default (LUTS, WLF, TBZ, COL, BBT are all ace IMO) - my wife and young kids are loving it too!! Always have to skip FFWF to be safe though!

This album just keeps putting a smile to my face. 'Give Me A Signal' just started playing again. The beginning just gets you right in. This album is really diverse. Still can't believe how good it is. Only downpoint for me is when Keith sings: "Champions of London" on that track. When you've listened to the album 10 times+ Keith's voice doens't really matter though. It's just as it should be. Like the good old days... Well... not that old really, but you know... the AONO-era. BGAT-times... -Remember when we all moaned about that Hotride El Batori Mix 3? That was the good times. We had Prodigy back. Now they are here again. Not a big gap between TDIME and NT though, but NT still feels fresh and majestic as well. At least it kills everything else out there today.
I don't usually do big reviews on here, but I'll try tonight. Bare in mind that I really am hyped over this album, so I might be a little overly positive at the moment. But... I really feel that Liam, Keith and Maxim have made a great album here. Still, I'm trying to grade the tracks on the assumption that the Narcotic Suite and SMBU are representatives of the grade 10/10.
Need Some 1: 5/10 I'm not too impressed with Need Some1 as the first track - or as first single. It's not really a good representation of the album. The synth sounds a bit weird. I do like the beat, the vocal sample and the nod to the Chemical Brothers though.
Light Up The Sky: 9/10 This one should probably have been the first single. It represents the whole album. Nostalgic, but with a moderen production. Heck, Liam even sampled Their Law on this one! It's a great track, and I really dig how it progresses into total mayhem with the sweet 303-like synth sounds.
We Live Forever: 8/10 Another nostalgic-trip. But this almost feels like a swansong from the band. 'We're here. It's now. We live forever.' It's a lie, but we want to hold on to the moments of past glory. We will always have that. And even if it ends, we will have the memories. This is a track that you must jump to. Dance your soul out, 'cause that way it'll feel like you live forever. Oh, and that high pitched vocal sample is ace, and the way Liam mixed Keith's vocals in with Maxim's: Very well done!
No Tourists: 7/10 What a big and majestic tune. I like the distortion and the horror of the track. Maxim is great on this one. I like how he screams during the track. It kinda reminds me of... Michael Jackson actually. But the track is nothing like MJ's music of course. This is pure Liam. Pure Prodigy. The strings at the end remind me of all those fake Prodigy-tracks online in the 00's. Liam is reclaiming his ground.
Fight Fire With Fire: 8/10 I like it. It really brought a smile on my face when I heard it the first time. I like how fun this track sounds. The build ups and the many different sounds that Liam has put together here. Well done. That childish robot voice is killing it.
Timebomb Zone: 7/10 I also like this one. It's a fairly simple track, but effectful. I'll probably come back to this one more often than its counterpart: "Rhythm Bomb" from the previous album. This feels more aggressive - more like something you would enjoy dancing to or just going crazy to at a concert... You can just see the 90's rave clubs in your imagination when you listen to this tune.
Champions of London: 6.5/10 When I heard this one the first time I couldn't believe what I was hearing from Flint. His line 'Champions of London' seemed so generic and boring. Ugly actually. Then again, that's been Keith's trademark all along. He's the odd one out. That's why we fell in love with him I guess. He was even killed in almost every video during the Jilted era. Still, this is music, and I don't like the sound he makes here. The music is really good, but the vocals make this track kind of a low point for me.
Boom Boom Tap: 8/10 This was a fun surprise. I felt instant love for this track when I heard the: "Fuck you" line. The Commodore Amiga sounds also do good things for me. Reminds me of the old Batman game. Simple track I guess, but Liam is the best man to make simple stuff work. Fuck me, it's not simple to make something sound so good. What am I saying!!?
Resonate: 6/10 Dirty shit. It's a fine track. I'm not too sure if this will be something I'll come back to or not, but i's fine... Better than most. Great, werid british accent on that robot voice.
Give Me A Signal: 9/10 FUCK!

Even if I think that Fight Fire With Fire (or the formula that jonyintheplace proposed ) is one of the worst prodigy trax, i have to admit that it is getting a bit better to me. In my opinion Champions Of London is way worst. It just has the same semitone riff over and over for more than 4 minutes. Aces trax are 4 me, firstly Resonate, which is pure class and then We Live Forever, LUTS followed by Time Bomb Zone. No Tourists is not my kind of track, but I find it pretty interesting and is growing a bit as well.
So, I'm still listening to the new album hundred times from yesterday, trying to remain calm and pause my excitement to say few things about it.. As each album, this one's here has different stuff to display again. Most of the tracks are similar and by this term I mean they're tied up well on this concept of evil rave sound. I'd better & easily listen to the full album rather than split tunes It doesn't have the versatility of other albums like IMD for example, but I'd prefer it to TDIME.. Fav slams: Timebomb Zone (Rhythm Bomb how it should be :D Love the beats on this new tune and a kinda of NERO feel to me a bit ) Resonate (Back to the same feeling when heard live the dubstep version of Thunder) LUTS (my current ringtone ) We Live Forever (the Ultramagnetic MC's sample does it all in here. I'd probably leave Maxim vox cos after the first 30 seconds takes me to an oldskool revival.. massive beats & buildup) Don't want to put rating to the album atm but I'd happily listen to it. Respect to the band we've been raised under their buzz and that goes especially to the 30+ yr old ant mates around the world
Hi, mate ! Same feeling here. Too soon to give an opinion about the record, but I enjoy it a lot. Initially, NT and GMAS did not transcend me. But the ton of listening is starting to make an impact ! Quality production, really dynamic. I have trouble listening to TDIME because of its production since a long time, and NT is good for the 30+ yr old ant that I am, 22 years fucking my ears with the sound of Howlett Cheers, man. EDIT: I don't remember how to make a clean quote on this forum, sorry.
