Electronic_Punk® wrote: I fear that Timebomb Zone and No Tourists won't be played live or will have the same destiny as Thunder, Destroy and Rebel Radio. Hope not. Timebomb Zone is an ok'ish track on the new album but it can be a killer tune live so bring it! No Tourists? The best The Prodigy tune in years so fingers crossed for No Tourists Intro / No Tourists (Opening Track) Electronic_Punk® wrote: Boom boom and Give me a signal will probably never be played live. And Im happy about that Electronic_Punk® wrote: Fight cocks with cunts will definitely be played live once Ho99o9 join as support acts. Second very good tune on the new album so more than once please.

I am very glad to read about Piranha and Thunder. With TMTTH, WOF and Omen Reprise, these are the highlights of the album, to my taste. The first 4 albums are like my favorite movies, I can listen to them indefinitely without ever getting bored, a combination of many things that lead to this effect, I think: The memories, the tastes that are forged around the English electronic sound in my youth, and, of course, the astonishing quality of the compositions and production. I unfortunately don't have the same pleasure with IMD and TDIME, but if I isolate 5 or 6 tracks from these albums, I have custom EPs with everything I love about The Prodigy. For me, tracks like Piranha or Thunder are as good as the best titles of the first 4 records.
I never understood the band's choices about tracks like Thunder, Destroy and Rebel Radio (two of my favorites from TDIME) in concert, quickly replaced by others or remixes. I have long waited for Piranha to be played. I remember 2 concerts in 2010 in which Maxim sang the lyrics from Piranha (I don't remember in which track); we felt frustration at him not being able to play Piranha. Not to mention the live album WOF without WOF... For me, WOF and Rebel Radio are the most iconic titles from IMD and TDIME. I would be really curious one day to know why such choices were made.
I am off topic, I stop there.

I am off topic, I stop there. My problem with Rebel Radio is basically its production. The potential was huge but there are some parts which are hardly listenable due to its loud production and too many things happening at the same time. At the beginning it was the track that I played the most but I got tired of it quickly

That heatwave sample is the best thing about it.

A case of changing too much.

From the distance of time I must admit that I like some elements about TDIME era. Besides of music - that graphic style was really nice, love the cover with that innocent looking fox in front of dark, apocalyptic sky and Nasty and Wild Frontier music videos were very forward-looking (there were also GYFO and Ibiza which were really boring and meaningless). Do you remember that short clip with the fox running across dark streets with a fragment of TDIME track? Very atmospheric. Also, even if I didn't like that album as a whole work, I liked few tracks and some catchy moments really stuck in my head to this day.
Where da hell is promotion of an album now? I love how new stage look, but I don't feel like there were enough effort put in marketing.

After all these days, id say the two tracks who makes me wana dance, sit near a campfire and hallucinate weird cringy 3d effects or bang my head into a wall are We Live Forever and Give me a Signal. The energy is HUGE. HUGE! Not since 3 kilos and Claustrophic Sting did i rock this much. I am the oven! Ride on the edge! ATM the tracks are rated like this, from worst to best: 10. Need some 1. And this is their first single. 9. Champions of London. Oh boy. Each album got to have one of these tracks 8. Boom boom tap. The good part kicks in at 2:00 but oh well, guess that Liam didnt want to throw this away. 7. No Tourists. Its just so slow. Lyrics are great tho. 6. Fight fire with fire. This would have been upper on the list if it only had the line "EVERYONE TIME TO MELT YOUR MF FACE!" thru the whole song instead of full lyrics. Thats the kind of the Prodigy tracks i like, just one or two lines on a track repeated. 5. Light up the Sky. I still cant get over the start of the track. But its a classic. 4. Timebomb Zone. One major complaint, why is this short? 3. Resonate. I am so glad they didnt change anything from the live version. Thought this track would get Worlds on Fire'd, Rokweiled or Get your Fight on'd. But no, i am glad Liam didnt change one single bit of it. And its a fun track. Clever. 2. We live Forever. The chills i got down my spine when the Oven line kicks in. This track is perfect and it makes me wana dance. 1. Give me a Signal. As i mentioned before. A pop artist. Keith. Fat riff. Jilted tunes. Last track of the album. Weve had disasters like Fuel my Fire, Shoot Down and Rise of the eagles, and the b-side quality Stand Up. I didnt expect much of this. Its the last track, even the track itself sounds weird. Give me a signal? Is this a pop song that will sound similar to Colours where Keith and Barns sings in pair? The scenario that happened is like when Cowell sits in the jury and just waits for the disaster to happens after interviewing an akward person in stage. Then the person starts singing opera and the facial expression Cowell gets. Thats how it felt for me. I just sat there having no faith in this song. The lyrics were cheesy. Fat beats kicked in. Am i dreaming? This isnt Colours v2 popsong. About 1:02 mark. Jilted era tunes kicks in. 2:34 to 3:11 is, personal opinion, the best part hes ever produced since FOTL. This track alone makes the album for me. The tune is stuck on my head. Its insane how such a recipe of disaster could work. I honestly thought i would get a failed closer giving me a bitter taste, especially after Champions of London to Boom Boom Tap. THANK you Liam. THANK YOU!

Imagine you are in an orgy and you masturbate all alone in the corner and bitching for hours. You become annoying as fuck. Made your point, let us have our fun. have you read me man? I said that I like NT, better than expected, except Fight Cocks With Cunts, which is worse than anything written by a human being in 20 centuries. Timebomb Zone is a very cool track, I miss more complexity or development, it's like having radio edits of everything, but I thought this album was going to be worse than IMD and TDIME and it is not. alright this sarcasm is a bit much now. lets see you create something better than fight fire with fire and yes that'a challenge. instead of bitching like a little girl, try and offer a solution to your 'problem'

"well if you don't like it, then make something better" is never a good response to criticism. > watches a michael bay transformers movie, doesn't like it. > "Well make something better, then!" > "But i'm not even a filmmaker" > "Well, thanks for proving my point! You can't!" > "I still don't like this movie, tho."

"Try not to spread your hate of something so much that you need to add childish cursing and despise people who like it." Seems like that would lighten up the mood a bit.

greyson wrote: Where da hell is promotion of an album now? I love how new stage look, but I don't feel like there were enough effort put in marketing. How are albums promoted these days? I've read and heard quite a few interviews, reviews and online adverts. There's also a tour for the album. The only thing I haven't really noticed is posters at bus stops and train stations. I don't read physical magazines or newspapers anymore so I don't know if there were any print adverts. I presume the advertising budget is spent on online ads these days where ads are targeted fairly accurately to people who may be interested.
