I wonder and wonder and wonder why Liam is still doing stuff like that?!?! I mean the tune is not bad at all (it got nice beats and stuff) but after AONO he's releasing pretty mediocre tracks:
- Wake The Fuck Up
- First Warning
- Shadow of The Devil

And I dunno why - cause he's still producing bomb tracks like Heatwave for example but he never release them or when he does they sound worse like happened with Wake The Fuck Up and Warning - live they sound amazing with vocals and massive arrangements and then they are released in much worse versions.

To Liam:
Wake the fuck up man! This is my first warning! Next time you gonna see the shadow of the devil!

My thanks to the guy that uploaded Shadow of the Devil sounds like it's a sweet "demo" of the hopefully much more proper "Shadow", a throwaway tune for a movie, much like "titan" for cough... cough... cough... youknowwhat.

Here's hoping Shadow get's ripped/robbed soon!

The tracks WTFU, Warning and Shadow are songs arne't going to be on the new album, so it's safe to assume they're not the best material he has (artists don't release their best music exclusively this way), which is why they've been released on mix albums, film and video game soundtracks respectivly, and are what I might refer as transition songs.

I wouldn't worry too much, if when the album comes out you're not happy, well I don't know, complain then.

i really like both versions but its really doesnt sound like its moving from AONO and you's all know liam likes to Evolve and change but its just like "Girls" and "More Girls"

Thanx for the Links - Like both versions! Best version - I think - is a combination of both tracks, especially the nice intro from the first version and main parts of the second version. Most difficult thing is to make a good end for that tune, cos those fadeouts are very boring ....

For me this is a kind of FOTL-AONO Megamix in a particular way and maybe it will show us a little bit the directions - Liam will lead us to next prodigy album.

my thoughts...

"shadow of the devil," the movie version sounds like it's from the AONO sessions, which probably got remixed into "more girls" with Liam just throwing "Girls" samples over it.

but the new "shadow" for Project Gotham Racing sounds more like Liam took the original idea not related to "Girls" and just turned it into a brand new track. i prefer the PGR version, gots more balls to it. and that synth/bass line is fat.

can't wait for the PGR full version, once we get it in high quality, i think this track is gonna have some real bass. it has that dirty electro AONO sound, but with some balls to it. vocals would be nice, but you know how that goes.

honestly, people complain about Wake The Fuck Up, Back To School, and First Warning, but if they simply has vocals over them, i bet the people dissing them would like them more. there's always hope.

and i get let down again.. meh..

Hey I like it. Yeah its B side material, its linear and all that. But I think its got something cool about it. To me, this track is not unlike Molotov Bitch or something like Who U Foolin. Tracks which I like also.

I reckon the fade out at the end is not the true end to the track. That would be the dudes who did the credits fading it out.
