I am really devastated at this time. Can't listen to their music either. The beautiful memories will soon be all I can see, for now it's dark.

it has occurred to me last night that much of my social circle, and many people whom I now regard as very close friends are all people I have met in some shape or form, through this band. To think I wouldn't know these people, including a large number of people from BK/Nekos/Juges, etc etc... over the years, is quite amazing..

I don't know where I would be today had I not been introduced to the band at the age of 7 by my older cousin. I wouldn't have met the Jilted Generation boys, all of whom are like family to me, I wouldn't have so many amazing memories of hearing so many different songs for the first time. I know exactly where I was when I heard so many tracks over the years. Their music has shaped so many good memories for me. Things I will take to my grave. And I certainly wouldn't be writing my own music, which in itself has been an amazing adventure and has taken me to so many places and introduced me to so many people...All this has been through the captivating music that the lads created.

When you mention Prodigy to people, they instantly will think of Keef, that iconic image of him snarling at the camera in black and white from the Firestarter video is ingrained into the subconscious of the UK public forevermore, such was the reaction to the video when it came out. The world knew who those 4 lads from Braintree were, and a massive part of that is because of Keef. The outpouring of affection for him has been quite something to behold.

He is the most iconic, recognisable figure in the history of dance music. No question.

The band have shaped my life. Its overwhelming to think about it. I am so proud to be a fan of this band, and we all need to stand together in our mourning for Keef. I hope we can all arrange some kind of get-together and remember him as one.
