The punk beats are fukin great in Signal, but I don't like the acid in it. It ruins the track. It's still a great track but could be much better.

If you pretend the acid freakout is aforementioned person frantically pressing all the numbers, trying to get a signal, much better this way, yes?

But I guess most people on here seem to like that kind of stuff.

It would be a perfect punk track.

Seems like an appropriate time to list my final Prodigy album ranking.
Note that as I am quite old-skool, the single releases during a particular era heavily influence my ratings. Girls, for example, excited me so much that AONO got in my top 3 :D In my opinion the Girls/Memphis Bells 12" promo release was the last GREAT single.
Without further ado:
1) Music For The Jilted Generation 2) The Fat Of The Land 3) Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned 4) Invaders Must Die 5) Experience 6) The Day Is My Enemy 7) No Tourists

Finally had my album order delivered today 11 days after the release date. They might not be getting a positive review on Ebay from me.

Sure why not 1. Fat 2. Experience 3. AONO 4. Jilted 5. No Tourists 6. The Day 7. IMD I remember discussions after AONO where the community was terrified as to whether there is going to be a fifth album... or whether there should be a fifth one. Three albums followed, all of them decent. We should be immensely grateful and most of us are. But you know, like geese there is an imprinting thing going on with music, a sometimes irrational, incredibly strong bond between a person and a band/album/single. My imprinting phase is over, it was during the late 90ies till mid 2000s. Therefore, anything past AONO never had a fighting chance which I believe is true for must of us here. And a neutral opinion from someone who is not "imprinted" on the early albums?... show Experience to a millenial and they wouldn't know what to do with it (much like a casette tape). Even though, had I have the possibility back then to listen to all seven albums at the same time, No Tourists would be much higher!
