Doesn't sound too amazing, but I am aware the quality is way too bad, and the snippet way too short, to judge it.

Sounds awesome to me! Can't wait for final release!

COME ON you people are gonna judge a remix on hearing ten seconds of added bass filmed on a hand held cam. FFS

The Prodigy - Mindfields (Baauer Remix) - may be the worst s**t that can be dropped on such an epic song like mindfields... that's really disgusting and sick joke IMO .......

even after all my praises towards some trap artists, i'm afraid you're right. first impression is - what a crap. how is this possible?

this may be first impression, it may change after listening to it in full

Mindfields remix actually sounds alright... simple hip hop beat but it's an interesting rearrangement of the tune.. REALLY BAD radio rip though..

Glitch Mob remix sounds decent.. but a bit too simple...

Wasn't expecting The Glitch Mob to go the hard dirty club vibe
That Mindfields mix is pretty cool, he so far seems like he switch the track up the most in my opinion and chopped it up completely

This Added Fat EP is just a disaster... People who gonna buy this reissue album will make me laugh. Those who will buy it are not fans, are just an idiots... My apologies, but that's true.

You mad, bro?

that's a bit harsh...

maybe they want to own the remixes physically
or some people have said they don't even own the album as it is now and might pick this up

i actually like the mixes that i heard so far

could the release have been better, of course
but this feels like XL's doing more so than Prodigy
maybe Liam purposely didn't wanna put extra stuff on it since it wasn't 100% their bidding

people are gonna buy it obviously...
i don't think it makes them idiots
they just wanna buy it

Those who buy it are not fans?
I really don't understand that comment at all

So you're more of a fan by not buying and supporting an artist's release? Where's the logic in that?

If you don't wanna buy it, then don't buy it
Don't go calling people idiots that do, just seems really silly

And you wonder why these forums are hated by so many fans that they do everything they can to make their own lol...

If they don't have Fat Of The Land album (Impossible) it's ok.

Perhaps, if they don't have FOTL album (Impossible) or they are excited about shitty remixes.

We are talking about this one relase only. Why do You want to support Your favourite band if they showing the middle finger to the fans by releasing shitty album reissue? That's the logic.

It'll be nice to hear FOTL with louder production. That's what I like the most about these re-issues, the sound level is on par with current tunes. FOTL and IMD go well together, many mix cd's will made (yeah I still do that, I'm old I guess)

Oh pleeeaaase, as if all the loudness these last years has brought us better listening experience. On the contrary, FOTL was perfectly balanced in dynamics and loudness, limiting it more would really harm the great mixing on this album. I can't wait for this loudness mania to finally end some day.

As for the remixes: Noisia stays the best, the Mindfields remix is meh, the glitch mob thing sounds boring so far, but let's see. The glitchmob guys look surprisingly stupid there.

Let me improve your argument a bit. Why would you support the record company that makes a re-release kinda against the band's will? A bit more optimistic but still very likely that's the case... I should say tho that I don't like it when you call the buyers "idiots". This release is stupid and either the band doesn't care about us or the label about the band, but it is not fans who are stupid.

I like what I hear in Baauer remix, and keep in mind that it was a part of radio set and it has lots of usual crap over it. I was sure that Mindfields+trap won't ever work but as far as I can hear it's surprisingly good. Glitch Mob try sounds too housy for me, but knowing what kind of sound they produce I assume the sound quality has fucked much up.

Some of us, besides Prodigy, listen to different music. Some rock, some dubstep, some alternative, but we have in common Prodigy and their music.
Music evolve, music is in progress. Prodigy is only a live band now. They selling on CD only by their names, no for music anymore like in the '90s. That is way XL put that mixes on the second cd. Because is the music that is listen now. For sure i don't like it, but hey, this is what is on the mp3 players on kids on the street. For me is the first time when i hear that is a genre trap music.
So, for me is the worst release ever (cause i don't like that genre of music), but for others is ok, cause they like that music.
